The Environmental Field Laborer (Field Tech) must be able to work in compliance on various remediation and industrial maintenance projects. JOB REQUIREMENTS Minimum requirements for this position include an Associate of Science degree (Bachelor of Science degree preferred) from an accredited college or university in fields of environmental science, geology, hydrogeology, or other related fields. Three to five years (or more) of experience working in the environmental consulting/management industry preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required for this position. Completion of a 40 hour OSHA HAZWOPER training program and current Connecticut Department of Public Health Asbestos Project Monitor, Asbestos Inspector/Management Planner, Asbestos Designer, Lead Inspector/Risk Assessor certifications/licenses would be considered a plus.
