JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES):
Drive the Cleveland Operations in Safety, Environment, Health, and Compliance programs, processes, and projects to improve results.
Improve the health and safety of the workforce through education and communication.
Thoroughly investigate incidents and drive for sustainable resolutions.
Develop and drive projects, processes and programs to improve EHS results.
Review, assess and approve compliance and safety aspects of equipment installations.
Support/resolve day-to-day production EHS issues and tasks.
Assist with EHS programs; WELD, Near Miss, SafeTrack, etc.
Investigate Near Miss reports.
Work on developing LOTO & Confined Space procedures.
Develop and or assist with JHA development and updates.
Assist with communication and education of new EHS and Agency requirements to the Cleveland Operations.
Be up to date with regulatory agencies' policies NFPA, NEC, OHSA, etc.
Assumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the Company's 2025 Strategy.
REQUIREMENTS
Vocational Training and 3+ years experience required; or GED with 5+ years in related field.
Has working knowledge and skills to perform a defined set of analytical/scientific methods or operational processes
Applies experience and skills to complete assigned work within own area of expertise
Works within standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods
Works with a moderate degree of supervision
Ability to work on multiple projects and tasks with minimal supervision.
Must be Safety conscious, demonstrate good judgment and led by example.

The candidate will assist Team Leads, Project Managers, and Environmental Scientists on existing and upcoming projects primarily within the Tri-State Area. The position is located in Pittsburgh, PA, or Akron-Canton, OH, with in-office work and hybrid options available.
Responsibilities include conducting wetland delineations, environmental investigations, and collaborating with other environmental professionals. The candidate will also prepare reports, technical documents, and environmental permit applications for local, state, and federal agencies, as well as interact with clients and regulators.

- Performs moderate environmental assessments and routine technical work.
- Prepares portions of environmental plans, specifications, and other project documents; assists with preparation of other environmental deliverables.

Assists in educating the public and conducting public programs focusing on the Children's Garden and operating the carousel. Works with Senior Naturalist and operational staff on visitor services and park maintenance. Position begins April/May and should conclude no longer than 6 months from start.
