Requirements - Bachelor's degree in environmental science, geo-environmental, biology, or related field - 3 - 5 years of experience - Wetland delineation experience required - Clean Water Act Section 404/401 permitting experience a plus. - Hand-held GPS experience preferred - Desire to learn a wide variety of disciplines - Periodic overnight travel - Strong technical writing and communication skills - Microsoft Office software proficient - CADD or GIS experience a plus - Ability to lift 50 lbs Requirements Requirements listed above.

Temporary Description Assists in educating the public and conducting public programs focusing on the Children's Garden and operating the carousel. Works with Senior Naturalist and operational staff on visitor services and park maintenance. Position begins April/May and should conclude no longer than 6 months from start. RATE OF PAY: $10.70 to $15 per hour, commensurate with the employee's experience. HOURS: Up to 39 hours per week. Requirements Conducts programs. Works with Senior Naturalist to provide visitor services Performs maintenance of visitor areas. Opens and closes parks. Assists with special events. Performs related duties as apparent or assigned. Must be able to work weekends and evenings as needed. Must possess a valid Ohio driver's license. New employees must satisfactorily complete a background check. The Outdoor Experiences Assistant supports the efforts of Outdoor Experiences staff with educational programs, camps, recreation programs, gardening, hosting, office work, cleaning, and other duties as assigned.
