Job Description
Summit Anaheim currently has an open position for Environmental Tech (3rd shift). Summit Interconnect is a manufacturer of advanced technology printed circuit boards with a specific focus on complex rigid and rigid-flex product with unique expertise in RF/Microwave applications.
Position Summary:
Responsible for running, monitoring, and plumbing the Waste Water Treatment (WWT) system and conduct preventative maintenance. Performs daily laboratory analysis for copper conc. Organizes and ships out hazardous waste.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a minimum of two (2) years' experience in the printed circuit board industry and must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance to company policies, systems, and procedures.
Organize and prioritize work and schedule time to accommodate work demands, turn-around time, and company commitments.
Maximize productivity.
Daily running and monitoring of the waste water treatment system.
Daily preventive maintenance of WWT system.
Grab samples of IX sensing systems and discharge frequently.
Perform daily laboratory analysis for copper conc.
Batch treatment, when needed.
Organize virgin chemistry and store them in proper location.
Organize and ship hazardous waste
Plumbing in the WWT system as well in the production floor.
Setting up to get composite samples.
Authorities:
To be instrumental in the training of new personnel.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to perform repetitive motions for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs.
Compensation/Benefits: Summit offers a variety of health and benefit programs. Which include Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA plans, Life Insurance, PTO, and Paid Holidays. Benefits are effective 1st day of the month following 30 days of hire.
Pay Range for this position is $18.00 - $30.00 an hour based on experience.

APTIM has openings for a EnvironmentalTechnician to work in a team to perform solid waste composition assessments of client waste containers ranging in size from 3 cubic yards to 40 cubic yards. These assessments are typically 1-2 days in duration with typical team sizes ranging from 2 to 5 depending on the size of the assessment.
Work activities will include sorting through solid waste using hand tools to segregate waste items by type for the purpose of assessing various types of waste including plastics, paper, cardboard, glass, food waste and regulated materials. Assisting with the separation of the waste, weighing and inventorying items for the purpose of data analysis and reporting.
Work requires the ability to bend and lift 30 pounds or less, willingness to work in Tyvek safety suits, wear required safety equipment, and ability to work on your feet for up to 8 hours.

Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Professional and Scientific Positions.
BASIC REQUIREMENT OR INDIVIDUAL OCCUPATIONAL REQUIREMENT:
Degree: Physical science, engineering, or mathematics that included 24 semester hours in physical science and/or related engineering science such as mechanics, dynamics, properties of materials, and electronics.

Combination of education and experience -- education equivalent to one of the majors shown in A above that included at least 24 semester hours in physical science and/or related engineering science, plus appropriate experience or additional education.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below.
FOR GS-11: Successfully completed 1 year of specialized experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, the specialized experience must have been at the GS-09 grade level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service. Examples of specialized experience may include: serving as an advanced analyst in the field of analytical chemistry for analysis of water samples (primarily stream water, soil leachate, and precipitation); using equipment and instruments including atomic absorption spectrophotometers, ion chromatographs, automatic titrators, ammonia analyzers, carbon analyzers, and nitrogen analyzers; performing preparations, quality control, calibrations, calculations, waste and sample disposal related to the analysis; training other technicians in the performance of routine duties; and generating reports based on analytical data produced.
FOR GS-12: Successfully completed 1 year of specialized experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, the specialized experience must have been at the GS-11 grade level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service. Examples of creditable specialized experience may include planning and executing complex physical science studies, which usually involved intensive investigations into recognized phenomena. This work typically involved conventional methods and techniques though it required going beyond clear precedents, and required adapting methods to the problems at hand and interpreting findings in terms of their scientific significance. At this level, physical scientists have the ability to independently perform scientific work of considerable difficulty.

As a key member of the LDAR team, this role will be responsible for a full range of activities including:
Conduct routine leak inspections of industrial piping and tank components using a backpack-mounted organic vapor meter

Job Description
Spring Seasonal Naturalist Position
We are looking for educated, professional and energetic people for our academic naturalist seasonal position. Come to Orange County, CA and help us mold young minds and have fun too as we teach common core science standards to students. Our coverage in science goes over the field of life science, physical science and earth science. These include conducting experiments, using our telescopes, digging in our garden and excavating in the Lucy Lou Mine. Also give them a strong appreciation of the outdoors by facilitating hiking, archery, zip lining, rock climbing and even our challenge course. All training is provided and paid for. before schools arrive. Staff is required to work 5 full days a week (normally Mon.-Fri.). Chaperoning at night is a requirement as well.
We are looking for staff to join our team through June. The starting pay is $400/ week. The position amenities includes dorm style housing (rent free), a common room with two refrigerators, WiFi, satellite TV and kitchenette. All meals provided to students will be provided to naturalists. This is a residential camp position.

Job Summary
Our environmental field technicians / consultants (Level 1) provide clients with advice regarding potential contaminant presence in a variety of settings including residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. An ideal candidate should be an individual who is self-motivated, this “hands-on” position requires strong analytical and communication skills to identify a potential issue and convey the said issue to a client with remedial solutions when necessary. Through on-the-job training and certification courses, field technicians gain knowledge regarding state and federal regulations and in turn conduct surveys and produce reports as a knowledgeable party.
Responsibilities and Duties
Conduct on-site inspections, which includes documentation of site conditions, sampling, and in-person consultation
Produce professional survey reports based on inspection notes and sample data with remedial recommendations as necessary
Coordinate with multiple parties regarding inspections while keeping all parties best interests in mind
Adhere to all applicable state and federal laws and regulations and communicate that information to clients in a professional manner
Qualifications and Skills

High school diploma is required.
Prefer individuals with a bachelor's of science degree in construction management, biology, chemistry, environmental science, and/or a related science.
Valid Driver's License

Program Details
Internship will be approximately 3-4 months (May/June -August 2026)
A minimum of 20 hours, but more hours can be available if appropriate.
The program includes a collaborative 2-week charrette in July working on a project in Berkely, Ca (travel and lodging will be covered, if needed, during the charrette)
You will be required to work in-person at one of our California offices. Please note, lodging is not covered for anytime outside of the charrette.
What You Will Experience
Produce planning, environmental, engineering, economic, and other technical work products.
Analyze data and contribute to research.
Work with diverse technical teams.
Learn about local planning, environmental, engineering issues, and requirements.
Conduct assignments in the field (i.e., visit project sites).
Participate in public outreach and collaboration.
Collaborate and network with other diverse students in the cohort.
Minimum Qualifications

Our hands-on approach to outdoor education allows participants to explore the outdoors and science while developing creativity, leadership skills and a respect for the environment.
Job Description
Spring Seasonal Naturalist Position
We are looking for educated, professional and energetic people for our academic naturalist seasonal position. Come to Orange County, CA and help us mold young minds and have fun too as we teach common core science standards to students. Our coverage in science goes over the field of life science, physical science and earth science. These include conducting experiments, using our telescopes, digging in our garden and excavating in the Lucy Lou Mine. Also give them a strong appreciation of the outdoors by facilitating hiking, archery, zip lining, rock climbing and even our challenge course. All training is provided and paid for. before schools arrive. Staff is required to work 5 full days a week (normally Mon.-Fri.). Chaperoning at night is a requirement as well.
We are looking for staff to join our team through June. The starting pay is $400/ week. The position amenities includes dorm style housing (rent free), a common room with two refrigerators, WiFi, satellite TV and kitchenette. All meals provided to students will be provided to naturalists. This is a residential camp position.
