Job Summary and Responsibilities
Follow the standard work procedures of the CHI National Environmental Services Program completing duties in the hospital to ensure a clean, safe and aseptic environment. Essential Key Job Responsibilities
Maintains strict confidentiality of information gained in the process of day to day work. This includes HIPPA compliance as well as following the corporate compliance guidelines.
Demonstrates a strong sense of team and the ability to cooperate and work with others. This includes strict adherence to the Standards of Conduct policy.
Follows infection prevention practices including the regulations, recommendations, and standards of regulatory agencies, and safety practices while completing the CHI National EVS Standard Work.
Safe Handling/Disposal/Packaging for Transport of Pharmaceutical Waste/Hazardous Materials/Bio-Hazardous Regulated Medical Waste. 1.) Completes the Resource Conservation Recovery Act (RCRA) and Hazardous Waste education during new employee orientation and annually. 2.) is knowledgeable of the process for identifying the proper waste stream and uses the appropriate container to dispose of waste. 3.) Responds to a release of hazardous chemicals or hazardous pharmaceuticals (P-listed waste) utilizing the facility hazardous waste contingency plan. 4.) Knowledgeable regarding the process to contact the emergency response coordinator for hazardous waste/pharmaceutical release/spill clean-up.

WBKO is an award-winning, dominant number one station looking for a knowledgeable forecaster, compelling storyteller, and team player for this critical Weekend Meteorologist/Multimedia Journalist (MMJ) role. The ideal candidate will have a comfortable on-air appearance and be able to break down complex weather situations into easy-to-understand broadcast and online as well as provide written stories and multimedia weather content for digital platforms. The Weekend Meteorologist also serves as an MMJ covering weather/science and general news stories three days per week, unless filling in for another meteorologist.
Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Analyze weather data and prepare detailed and engaging weather forecasts.
- Familiarity with the WSI weather system and software is a plus.
- Ability to multitask, handle breaking news and breaking weather, and adapt to rapidly changing events.
- Cover other meteorologists' and MMJ shifts as assigned, as well as flexibility to cover shifts during severe weather or other breaking news events.

By joining the Division of Oil and Gas as an Environmental Scientist II in Perry County and surrounding area, you will have the opportunity to significantly contribute to our federal plugging projects by providing assistance and technical oversight the to well plugging contractors, landowners, mineral owners and other agencies.
This is a federally funded time-limited (FFTL) position. This means it is a position that is paid entirely as the result of a federal grant. The duration of employment shall not exceed the life of the federal grant that funds the position. An employee appointed to an FFTL position is required to meet the minimum requirements for the classification. Further, an employee appointed to an FFTL position is designated as an unclassified (non-merit) employee. An FFTL employee is eligible to receive benefits at the same level as a classified (merit) employee in a permanent position.
Holders of the Environmental Scientist II position will complete tasks such as:
* Evaluates Division, PVA, and other records to determine surface ownership related to orphaned oil and gas well.
* Prepares and sends correspondence to affected surface ownership related to reclamation proposals and activities.
* Prepares written analysis based upon the findings.
* Prepares reports and technical documents for the Division related to reclamation of orphaned well and tank sites.
* Conducts inspections and oversees field activity as needed.
* Coordinates the seven (7) day advance notice to surface owners related to proposed plugging and cleanup activities for orphaned well and tank sites.
* Ensures such communication is documented and filed with the Division records, and coordinates with field personnel on the status of existing and upcoming projects.
* Conducts research and determinations related to current and previous operators of orphaned oil and gas wells and tanks.
* Coordinates with the Office of Legal Services to provide related information and testify at cost recovery hearings.
