Job Overview
The EnvironmentalTechnician will carry out work orders by the contract on a daily basis.
This position is located at Stennis Space Center, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.

Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
* Report to work on time daily.
* Carry out work orders by the contract on a daily basis.
* Report all problems and accidents to the supervisor upon discovery, comply with all rules and regulations on Stennis Space Center property.
* Perform job requirements including but not limited to the following: clean hard floors, carpets, empty trash, clean stairwells, elevators, entranceways, perform dusting and polishing, clean drinking fountains, glass and restrooms, etc.
* Secure vehicles and equipment at the end of each shift.
* All assigned work will be performed by the schedule and contract.
* All other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Mandatory:
* High school graduate or GED equivalent.
* Minimum of one year experience in Janitorial Services.
* Must have general knowledge of safety procedures in the janitorial workplace.
* Shift work is required and must be flexible during daily working hours.
* Must be a U.S. Citizen in order to obtain required NASA badge.
* Must be able to provide a certified Birth Certificate (with state seal), Passport, or INS Citizenship documents on date of hire (candidate will be sent home if this paperwork is not provided upon arrival on date of hire).
* Must have the ability to communicate the English language, both verbally and written, in an effective manner.
* Must have, and maintain, a valid Real ID driver's license.
* Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment background check and drug screen test.

* Walk six hours per day.
* Bend and stoop six hours per day.
* Work overhead with minimum 20 pound load.
* Push and pull frequently throughout the day.
* Walk up/down stairs frequently.
* Stand seven hours per day.
* Climb ladders and scaffolding.
* Wear PPE gear six hours continuously (steel toe shoes, safety glasses, hard hat, gloves).
* Tolerate extreme cold/heat for three hours continuously.
Preferences:
* Prior knowledge of NASA site, experienced with working on government installations preferred.

This position reports to the Gas Operations Manager and is responsible for the operation and maintenance of landfill gas collection and control systems (GCCS). The GCCS consists of a series of extraction points known as wells, interconnected via piping. The collected gas is transported using gas conveyance equipment (such as a fan or blower). Landfill gas (LFG) collected by this extraction system from the landfill's wellfield is combusted within a flare. Proper operation of the GCCS is required to comply with various State and Federal environmental regulations.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
+ Properly operate and maintain GCCS in a timely and cost-effective manner to ensure regulatory compliance and optimize performance.
+ GCCS operation and maintenance includes:
+ Calibrate, operate and maintain sensitive electronic data collection devices necessary to optimize LFG collection from the wellfield.
+ Collect and manage data entry from wellfield extraction and environmental monitoring locations.
+ Implement the GCCS preventative maintenance plan.
+ Operate and maintain liquid management system pneumatic or electric driven pumps (troubleshoot and determine liquid levels within liquid containment structures and or LFG collection wells).
+ Perform wellfield valve/vacuum adjustments, data collection and maintenance; interpret data.
+ Use Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) or High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) piping materials and associated equipment to perform maintenance on piping materials.
+ Complete the WM Landfill Gas Technician I Training.
+ Develop basic understanding of environmental regulations related to GCCS operations and develop the ability to work within an environmentally regulated industry.
+ Follow job related health and safety requirements and procedures.
+ Available for on-call response to GCCS related malfunction event(s).

WCBI-TV is located in a dynamic weather market, serving north Mississippi and west Alabama.
Weather leads our newscasts, we invest in the product with the Baron Lynx system, and strategically place cameras throughout the viewing area to provide viewers with the latest weather conditions.
We are looking for an experienced meteorologist for our team.
This person will provide forecasts and impactful weather coverage for our Sunrise newscasts from 5 AM until 9:30 AM on our CBS and FOX stations, along with weather for our half-hour MidDay show (12 PM) on CBS.
There will be plenty of time to chat about the weather and other fun topics.
The leading candidate will have a passion for weather, use social media/digital platforms frequently to inform and connect with viewers, and will work to keep our viewers safe during threatening weather.
There to help produce weather segments/special shows.
Here you will help provide wall-to-wall, life-saving coverage for severe weather, winter weather, and even hurricanes. We want a team player who will help our Chief Meteorologist provide severe weather coverage and fill in to lead coverage when necessary.
The ideal candidate will have experience with Baron Lynx.
Our next meteorologist will be calm, clear, and concise to provide an accurate forecast to our viewers.
Public appearances, school visits, and weather segments on-air and online will be required.

Job Overview
The EnvironmentalTechnician will carry out work orders by the contract on a daily basis.
This position is Part-time On-Call at Stennis Space Center.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
* Report to work on time daily.
* Carry out work orders by the contract on a daily basis.
* Report all problems and accidents to the supervisor upon discovery, comply with all rules and regulations on Stennis Space Center property.
* Perform job requirements including but not limited to the following: clean hard floors, carpets, empty trash, clean stairwells, elevators, entranceways, perform dusting and polishing, clean drinking fountains, glass and restrooms, etc.
* Secure vehicles and equipment at the end of each shift.
* All assigned work will be performed by the schedule and contract.
* All other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Mandatory:
* High school graduate or GED equivalent.
* Minimum of fifteen years experience in Janitorial Services.
* Must have general knowledge of safety procedures in the janitorial workplace.
* Shift work is required and must be flexible during daily working hours.
* Must be a U.S. Citizen in order to obtain required NASA badge.
* Must be able to provide a certified Birth Certificate (with state seal), Passport, or INS Citizenship documents on date of hire (candidate will be sent home if this paperwork is not provided upon arrival on date of hire).
* Must have the ability to communicate the English language, both verbally and written, in an effective manner.

WCBI-TV is located in a dynamic weather market, serving north Mississippi and west Alabama.
Weather leads our newscasts, we invest in the product with the Baron Lynx system, and strategically place cameras throughout the viewing area to provide viewers with the latest weather conditions.
We are looking for an experienced meteorologist for our team.
This person will provide forecasts and impactful weather coverage for our Sunrise newscasts from 5 AM until 9:30 AM on our CBS and FOX stations, along with weather for our half-hour MidDay show (12 PM) on CBS.
There will be plenty of time to chat about the weather and other fun topics.
The leading candidate will have a passion for weather, use social media/digital platforms frequently to inform and connect with viewers, and will work to keep our viewers safe during threatening weather.
There to help produce weather segments/special shows.
Here you will help provide wall-to-wall, life-saving coverage for severe weather, winter weather, and even hurricanes. We want a team player who will help our Chief Meteorologist provide severe weather coverage and fill in to lead coverage when necessary.
The ideal candidate will have experience with Baron Lynx.
Our next meteorologist will be calm, clear, and concise to provide an accurate forecast to our viewers.
Public appearances, school visits, and weather segments on-air and online will be required.

Columbus is a quick weekend trip away from the Gulf Coast, New Orleans, Memphis, Birmingham, and Nashville.
