Job Summary Our environmental field technicians / consultants (Level 1) provide clients with advice regarding potential contaminant presence in a variety of settings including residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. An ideal candidate should be an individual who is self-motivated, this hands-on position requires strong analytical and communication skills to identify a potential issue and convey the said issue to a client with remedial solutions when necessary. Through on-the-job training and certification courses, field technicians gain knowledge regarding state and federal regulations and in turn conduct surveys and produce reports as a knowledgeable party. Responsibilities and Duties Conduct on-site inspections, which includes documentation of site conditions, sampling, and in-person consultation Produce professional survey reports based on inspection notes and sample data with remedial recommendations as necessary Coordinate with multiple parties regarding inspections while keeping all parties best interests in mind Adhere to all applicable state and federal laws and regulations and communicate that information to clients in a professional manner Qualifications and Skills No experience required - will train. High school diploma is required. Prefer individuals with a bachelor's of science degree in construction management, biology, chemistry, environmental science, and/or a related science.
