The Abatement Technician is responsible for supporting asbestos abatement and industrial maintenance projects in full compliance with company policies, health and safety protocols, and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
Job Responsibilities
Perform asbestos abatement field work under direct or indirect supervision.
Accurately complete all required documentation, including timesheets, daily reports, driver's logs, and safety meeting forms.
Follow project scopes, schedules, and contract requirements while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures.
Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations during every phase of field work.
Work in confined or restricted spaces, including extended periods of squatting, crawling, or standing.
Safely operate and inspect vehicles within licensing requirements.
Travel out of town for extended assignments (two weeks or more) as required.
Adapt to varying physical demands and environmental conditions depending on project requirements.
Perform duties outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
Work in challenging environments, including exposure to extreme temperatures, hazardous materials, loud noise, heights, heavy equipment, and extended hours.
Meet physical requirements, including walking, crouching, use of hands, and lifting 50+ pounds.
Remain clean-shaven at all times to ensure proper respirator fit and seal.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent skills in reading, writing, and reasoning) required.
2-3 years of experience in asbestos abatement projects; related experience in emergency response, construction, manual labor, or industrial cleaning preferred.
Must hold a valid 32-hour Abatement Worker Certification.
Valid driver's license required; TWIC card preferred.
OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER, Confined Space Entry, and Lead Awareness certifications preferred but not mandatory.
Must successfully pass pre-employment background checks, substance screenings, and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) reviews, with continued compliance required throughout employment.

What you'll do:
Responsible for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of treatment plants and associated pump stations within the service area.
Perform daily inspection, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment at wastewater and water treatment plants and pump stations, as assigned.

Job Description
* Analysis of powder samples for key physical properties (such as particle size distribution, bulk density, true density, powder flow, particle shape)
* Analysis of liquid samples for key physical properties (such as viscosity and surface tension)

Qualifications

Develop an understanding of OSHA regulations as well as Triumvirate's Health and Safety practices
Preparation of chemical and biological waste for shipment and disposal, including creation of all federal/state waste documents and managing the paperwork for the material.
Safe handling of hazardous waste containers on client sites, as well as loading/unloading of waste from vehicles
Conduct safety equipment and hazardous waste inspections.
Occasionally perform and document Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) audits for clients.
Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Champion our commitment to the WOW! by providing outstanding support and innovative solutions to our clients
Develop a high-level of state and federal regulatory expertise ensuring our client's compliance needs are met (e.g RCRA, DOT, and OSHA)
Conduct spill response measures, including the assessment of the spills and cleanup efforts

Basic Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the hazardous-waste industry, or relevant military experience
