    What to Expect The Maintenance Support Technician will report directly to the Mx projects Supervisor, Technician will have responsibility for the performance of tasks associated with all Facilities Maintenance support, cleaning, collection, and safe/compliant handling of hazardous waste materials generated by our GFNV facility. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, self-driven and works well with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate must also take pride in their analytical abilities, operational mindset, organization skills and attention to detail. They appreciate a setting where superior work is encouraged, recognized, and rewarded. What You'll Do * The ideal candidate has experience in performing general and emergency maintenance of facilities equipment as well as knowledge of mechanical, electrical, controls, plumbing and process systems operation and maintenance * Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on facilities systems including required calibrations as scheduled * Perform Cleaning, collection and consolidation of hazardous waste containers generated by Facilties equipment * Perform and support all maintenance cleaning jobs, example: Sump, Trench, list stations etc. * Work closely with hazardous waste, Prepare loads/barrels for hazardous waste pick for disposal. Ensure hazardous waste containers are properly labeled * Ensure hazardous waste containers are disposed of within the allotted time. Provide on-call coverage due to time off, training, weekend work, etc. * Ensure compliance with all Tesla requirements for managing hazardous waste. Load or unload materials into containers or onto trucks utilizing material handling equipment. What qualifications are required for this role? * Associate degree or higher in Archaeology, Anthropology, or a related field. Prior on-the-job archeology experience or an archaeological field school may substitute for educational requirements. * Previous experience in archaeology preferred. * Ability to conduct fieldwork for long hours in various environments that often feature temperature fluctuations, rough terrain, and potential high altitudes. * Ability to carry up to 60 pounds of equipment and supplies. * Ability to bend and kneel for long periods of time. * Ability to travel out of town for work throughout the West, often on short notice and for extended periods (paid drive time, per diem, and hotel provided). * Ability to work as a member of a cohesive team. * Ability to work in a fast paced and creative environment.
