Industrial Cleaning CrewLeaders understand how to set up, perform, operate, maintain, and able to perform minor repairs of hydro blasting equipment as well as understanding EnviroVac and site-specific safety rules and regulations required. The CrewLeader will organize projects and manage an individual crew of employees which includes Technicians and Operators. The CrewLeader will understand and fulfill the duties and job descriptions of Technicians and Operators. The CrewLeader will have the competency to complete project paperwork to support billing, payroll and required safety data. CrewLeaders will have the ability to manage and utilize relationships with customers.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.
Provides direct supervision, coordination, and continuity to the assigned crew, and necessary communication from dispatch through the supervisor or account manager.
Performs Hazard Recognition Awareness to remove all hazards from the workplace.
Supervises the assigned personnel, equipment, material and subcontractors for the assigned work.
Ensures work performance is planned and coordinated according to work plan schedule, quality, budget and safety objectives including but not limited to, layout and hookup requirements and assigned crew work lists for setup, processing, rig-down and decontamination.
Maintains the project work-site in a safe and environmentally sound condition per DOT, EPA and OSHA requirements.
Supervises assigned EnviroVac personnel and subcontractors and communicates with supervisor regarding employee performance management.
Ensure equipment is received and maintained in good working condition throughout the job. Report all deficiencies as they arise to all appropriate parties.
Report any unsafe or environmentally unsound condition as well as report situation in accordance with company regulations and procedures.
Carryout all company policies.
Monitor morale of personnel and endeavor to maintain a high level and “can do” attitude.
Maintain working knowledge of current, applicable regulations.
Maintain a problem-solving attitude and attempt to procure additional work.
Must Perform physical labor duties as needed based on client requirements, client contract, staffing constraints, and as directed by the assigned Supervisor or Account Manager.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Must be committed to and able to perform all assigned duties safely, at all times.
Must meet all physical requirements and able to safely perform all duties of Industrial Cleaning Technician and Operator.
Must be thoroughly trained and able to operate industrial vacuum truck, high-pressure industrial water blasters, and other necessary equipment on various projects.
Strong written and oral communication skills; effective interpersonal communication across various levels of the organization and with external customers and vendors.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret business documents, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
Ability to understand and follow specific procedures and directions; unwilling to cut corners.
Must be able to safely and effectively perform decontamination process of assigned equipment as required by specific project and Company policy, preventing cross-contamination between the equipment and/or job sites.
Basic math skill.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
If medically qualified, you must obtain Class B Commercial Driver's License.
Must have completed the minimum qualifications of a Technician and an Operator.

In this position, you will work as part of a team working on ground up construction projects to install piping, tanks and electrical/mechanical systems. We provide classroom and on the job training for our install/construction positions and service technicians. In this positions you may work at service stations, commercial sites, marinas, and airports, etc.
Essential Functions
• Ability to travel to job sites (may require overnight travel).
• Must be able to operate heavy equipment to dig ditches and manually install equipment.
• Work with concrete, framing, pouring, mixing, and finishing.
• Maintain positive working relationships with crew members, vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure deadlines are met.
• Follow safety procedures at all times.
• Ensure safe housekeeping practices are followed, including job cleanup at the end of each day.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED.
• Construction experience a plus.
• Experience in the petroleum industry and product familiarity is preferred.
• Installer certifications in the product line are a plus.
• Heavy equipment operation experience is a plus.
• Reliable employee, detail oriented with strong communication skills.
• Ability to lift 75 -100 lbs.
• Ability to work outside during all types of weather.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Installation of fire sprinkler systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings
Installation, service, and trouble-shooting of automatic fire sprinkler systems along with all its related equipment
Be a leader: oversee, direct, and delegate appropriate tasks to fitters and helpers as needed to fulfill project completion deadlines, meet scheduling requirements, and exceed the goals established by the fire sprinkler manager
Complete assigned projects in a timely manner and attempt to keep under budget.
Ensure that all projects are done flawlessly
Work on projects independently
Use project drawings to accurately and entirely interpret installation requirement details
Update daily installation progress notes on job contract drawings (asbuilts)
Communicate any change orders as necessary to the fire sprinkler manager and or project manager to get approval before commencement of change
Thread and groove pipe, cut hanger rods, frequently climb ladders, hang pipe, read blueprints, layout, keep clean work area, and use appropriate equipment for any specific job such as tools, lifts, etc.
Present weekly tool box talks to employees
Provide a safe working environment for employees
