Denise is a results-oriented IT executive with a 25-year technology career spanning a breadth of industries including, education, government, finance, and systems integration consulting. She is recognized as a driven innovator whose ability to initiate and design changes can greatly increase an organization’s odds for success. “Her project management experience coupled with her ability to bring technical expertise that translates to business results, are a powerful combination.”Her leadership style is described by her colleagues as approachable and engaging and serves to promote healthy relationships between IT and the departments it serves. “She came in and observed. She put out the fires that that needed to be put out right away, and then looked at things from a long-term perspective. Got all parties involved. It was the right way to do it.”Currently, Denise is leading the turn-around of the IT organization as CIO of Envision, a for-profit education provider serving high-achieving youth. Her efforts at stabilizing and consolidating an aging infrastructure resulted in a significantly smaller footprint and reduced operational expense. Denise rationalized IT priorities and capital investments, and is overseeing strategic IT initiatives in a complex IT environment encompassing internal software development teams, managed services providers, and SaaS cloud solutions.
