Job Description
1. Assisting with on-campus events and activities: set up/tear-down before and after events; help with recruiting process; encourage and engage residents to attend; make reminder phone calls; join and help motivate throughout programming, transport elders t and from their personal rooms.
2. Driving Episcopal Homes residents to and from scheduled events. Assisting the resident on and off the bus, including passengers with walkers and in wheelchairs. Assisting with packages on and off the bus.
3. Maintaining the appearance of the bus, both inside and out.
4. Reporting any problems with the vehicle, and coordinating maintenance as needed.
5. Part time (20 hours/week). Flexible hours. Scheduled hours vary from daytime to evening, weekdays and weekends.
6. Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school degree or equivalent.
A valid Minnesota Class B Driver's license with a passenger endorsement. It is the responsibility of the individual to obtain necessary and proper driver's license and endorsements for this position. The ability to attain a CDL license (fees to be paid by Episcopal Homes).
Strong customer services skills with the ability and desire to work work older adults with varying abilities.
Patience and understanding of the senior population.
Ability to maintain a clean driving record.
Must pass a background check.
Provide annual verification of a negative TB skin test.

Qualifications

Episcopal Homes is seeking a controller to manage all accounting operations for 16 affiliated cost centers all located in the St. Paul Midway area. This position oversees the collection, classification, and recording of $30M in revenue and expenses and $120M in assets. The position is responsible for maintaining high internal control standards to mitigate risk and enhance accuracy in reporting financial results. The controller will work closely with other senior leadership as well as the HR and IT departments to integrate functions.
Qualifications
Our ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience as a controller or in an advanced accounting position and will be well versed in GAAP, HUD, and Medicare/Medicaid rules. Experience in a complex non-profit organization with multiple programs is desirable. A BS/BA degree in accounting is required; CPA highly preferred, or multiple years of public auditing experience in lieu of CPA. The candidate should demonstrate leadership skills for maximizing the strengths of current accounting team members and creating a positive and supportive work environment.
Managing cash through a system of accounting policies and procedures, ensuring that
transactions are timely and accurate;
Providing oversight to accounting operations including supervision of A/R and A/P processes,
