1991 - Contamination-free pipetting Using the Eppendorf Biomaster® in conjunction with Mastertips® completely prevents the formation of aerosol, a frequent cause of contamination (e.g. in the amplification of nucleic acids).
In 1992 Eppendorf's ”Biopur®“ standard was certified.
1993 - Electronic dispensing system With the EDOS® 5222 metering system, Eppendorf created an extremely versatile and high-performance device for all fluid dispensing tasks in the lab.

2001 – LidBac The LidBac Eppi™ for breeding bacterial cultures is launched.
2002 - PCR plates One-piece design: Combining polycarbonate and polypropylene for optimum performance.
In 2003 the epMotion® 5070 is introduced, Eppendorf’s first automated pipetting system.
2004 – Eppendorf LoBind® Tubes A new Eppi™ line is introduced: Eppendorf LoBind tubes, which enable a nearly complete recovery of DNA, RNA, proteins, viruses and peptides.
2005 – 30,000 x g Safe-Lock tubes and the 3810X (Flex-Tube) vessel can be centrifuged at 30,000 x g for the greatest possible security and rapid protocols.
