Epps Aviation company history timeline
In 1965, one of Ben’s sons, Pat Epps, bought a small fixed-based operation (FBO) at DeKalb-Peachtree Airport (PDK) and began Epps Air Service.
Pat Epps co-leads the Greenland Expedition Society's retrieval of icebound Lockheed P-38 Lightning (1st expedition to recover P-38 in 1981, success on 7th expedition).
Upon its completion in 1991, hangar is named in honor of Maintenance Manager Reese Munch.
Epps has first Spring YAA event on April 28, 2012
