How You'll Make an Impact:
Sales Compensation and Incentive Program Administration
* Design, implement, communicate, and enforce sales compensation programs, policies and procedures to motivate sales representatives to achieve sales objectives.
* Oversee effective execution of the sales compensation program (e.g., accurate, timely commission payments).
* Oversee and manage incentive programs for EAI sales representatives (eg. National Account Program, National Spiff program, etc.)
* Ensure alignment of sales programs with corporate goals and develops necessary controls.
* Develop sales quota methodology and manage annual quota setting process.
* Responsible for overseeing all sales reporting from distributor and reseller partners to compensate channel and end user sales teams.
* Audit and interpret data submitted for accuracy and adherence to program guidelines.
Sales Analysis and Reporting
* Oversee and create regular and ad-hoc reporting to analyze activity by customer, product, channel, and program.
* Reviews and interprets complex sales and compensation data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations to senior leadership
* Guides the team in maintaining and advancing expertise in sales data management systems and reporting tools, ensuring scalability and accuracy as business needs evolve
Relationship and Department Management
* Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales compensation and planning professionals, fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment
* Encourage best practices in documentation, process improvement, and knowledge sharing across the team
* Act as an escalation point for complex compensation issues, partnering cross-functionally to drive resolution while maintaining program integrity
* Develop trusted partnerships with peers, senior management, and key stakeholders to align sales compensation strategies with company goals.
* Maintain and leverage relationships with vendors and external organizations to deliver optimal solutions and stay informed of industry best practices.
What You Will Bring:
* 8-10 years of progressive experience in sales compensation, sales operations, or sales planning, including people leadership responsibilities
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required, MBA preferred.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and analytical modeling; ability to review and guide advanced analysis produced by the team
* Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into clear business insights and recommendations
* Experience with sales compensation systems and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) preferred
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy, fairness, and compliance with program guidelines

The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD $121,291 and $159,193. Please note that this position's salary range may include multiple levels. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. Provide excellent, proactive customer service to all guests including accurate information to telephone and in-person questions regarding Chapman University and our facilities.
Along with Lead FCA and graduate assistants, the FCA will provide amenities, programs and services including GroupX sessions, special events, and sports and recreation gear checkout
Utilize Rec Portal management system to check in guests, coordinate programs, and monitor facility access
Complete regular "active laps" as assigned to clean, monitor and address safety problems, complete repairs, and provide visual security of the facilities and their furnishings/equipment
Ensure all equipment and furnishings are working properly and that facilities are clean and tidy
Complete routine maintenance and cleaning and submit work requests to the facility manager for major issues
Promote programs and services and provide support for activities and events taking place in the facilities
Post signs, daily schedules and other administrative tasks as required.
Attend all scheduled meetings and training sessions
Attend Fitness & Recreation staff meetings led by the Lead FCA staff
Assist in Student Engagement department-wide events
Assist in other duties as assigned including staffing other facilities when needed
Assist in washing and drying used hand and face towels and carting clean towels to and from both on-campus fitness centers using proper PPE.
Because of the student-facing nature of this role, remote work is not permitted. Student employees are encouraged to use sick pay when it is needed and available.

Job Description/Duties
Facility Operations student assistant is responsible for daily operations of the fitness center. This includes customer service, light cleaning and organization
Duties include but are not limited to:
Assist with greeting individuals and check-in participants to the facility including administering university waiver policies.
Assist with maintaining the front desk clean and organized.
Assist with maintaining supply of flyers/ publications at desk and lobby (hours of operation, Group Ex schedule, Intramural schedule, brochures, etc.).
Assist with reviewing past shift reports to stay updated.
Assist with distribution of information as requested regarding operations and programs.
Assist members in registering for programs and services.
Assist with performing opening and closing procedures for the facility.
Assist with equipment rental and checkout services.
Assist with receiving program related gees as needed including program registration and day use fees.
Assist with maintaining bulletin boards and advertising materials with updated information.
Assist as a First Responder to emergency situations and provide First Aid and/or CPR until professional help arrives.
Assist with completion of all necessary paperwork (shift report, incident and accident reports).
Assist with enforcing all policies and procedures.
Provide a friendly, inclusive, service-oriented environment for all staff and participants. Perform other duties as assigned.
Assist with cleaning and maintaining equipment
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrates general knowledge of Recreation Sports and fitness activities.
Demonstrates effective organizational and time management skills.
Demonstrates ability to work independently.
Demonstrates current First Aid and CPR certification (Training will be acquired within one month of hiring).
Demonstrates experience in opening and closing duties of facilities.
Demonstrates effective response to emergency situations, injuries and first aid procedures.
Demonstrates effective customer service with difficult patrons/concerns and complaints.
Must attend annual and semester staff training (dates to be determined).
Must have a flexible schedule.
Required Qualifications:
Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.

* 1 year of hands-on experience working on M&A highly preferred (e.g., financial and commercial due diligence and target evaluation).
