Able to remove/rotate/lift/reinstall tires for tire rotation service.
Lubricate necessary components of the chassis/driveline.
Perform additional services on cooling systems and transmissions.
Perform second checks by visually verifying and performing proper callouts to ensure all necessary services have been performed.
Able to move from bay to bay to perform services on multiple vehicles.
Frequently ascends/descends stairs/catwalks/stepstools to retrieve vehicle parts (filters, wipers, etc.) or perform services top side or underneath the vehicle (drain oil, replace filter, differential services, lubrication)
Able to work for extended periods of time with arms above your head when performing services underneath the vehicle on a catwalk.
Constantly positions self to perform required services under the hood, related to tires, or on catwalk working underneath the vehicle.
Able to move/transport items up to approximately 50 pounds.
Able to work with tools to perform duties in tight sometimes hard to reach areas.
Communicate verbally and receive verbal communication to ensure services are performed accurately, safely and in the proper order.

TICKETING SUPERVISOR
SUMMARY
The Ticketing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the ticket selling staff. The Ticketing Supervisor will resolve customer service concerns and troubleshoot issues that arise with ticketing software and the point of sale system. This position will also supervise guestlist and any other night of show issues that may come up during the duration of the event with the help of the Ticketing Manager/Coordinator if needed.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Responsible for supervision of ticket sellers. Ensure that all employees are fulfilling their job responsibilities and advising staff when necessary.
2. Responsible for training of ticketing staff. Assist manager with scheduling and disseminate the schedule for department, ensuring all shifts are filled properly.
3. Accurately reconcile all credential inventory and equipment to ensure proper check in at the end of each shift.
4. Resolve customer service issues and complaints. Work with department to fix issues related to customer service complaints when appropriate. Troubleshoot any issues relating to software or point of sale system.
5. May be responsible for the organization of staff meetings, acceptance and payment of deliveries. May review ticketing information for each show built, validating prices and dates are correct. Coordinate show builds with marketing department.
QUALIFICATIONS

2. Strong computer skills with a proficiency in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)

EDUCATION:
MS in Genetic Counseling from an ACGC-accredited institution is required.
Demonstrated evidence of CEU credits required by the American Board of Genetic Counseling or other related licensing board for recertification.

BLACK YOUTH ELDER
The role of Elder is that of support for Black students as they explore their relationships with one another, and develop into a community at camp. Youth during Black Youth Summer Institute are challenged to think about who they are now, and what they dream for their futures. Elders support the growth and development of all youth regardless of where they are in their personal journey. Elders also provide support for staff members who are supervising students, and organizing classes, workshops, and other events during the week of camp.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Personal experience working with Black youth and communities. Experience working with middle and high school students.
Strong communication skills, flexibility and ability to problem-solve quickly and efficiently.
Ability to support needs of student participants.
Able to make fulltime commitment during Black Youth Summer Institute.

BLACK YOUTH SUMMER INSTITUTE SENIOR COUNSELORS
Senior Counselors must be enthusiastic, high-energy, responsible, mature, and emotionally stable individuals who enjoy working with youth. Candidates should have leadership abilities and a strong sense of how to work as a team member. The Senior Counselor should be an outstanding role model for participants. Counselors must model responsible behavior including punctuality, appropriate attire and good personal hygiene, positive attitude, compassion, wise decision-making, and intellectual curiosity. Senior Counselors should establish good relationships with students by initiating conversations and activities, conducting living group meetings, and ensuring that all students feel included and welcomed.
Each Senior Counselor will be assigned to supervise 8-10 students during those times when students are not involved in classes. The time commitment for the job is considerable. Students will range in age from 11-18 years; depending on the student there may be a need for high level supervision. Senior Counselors are an integral part of the supervision required. Counselors must have the self-discipline to manage sufficient rest needed for maintaining a high level of enthusiasm and supervisory responsibility during a rigorous daily/week schedule.

Minimum Qualifications (GMW2): Pesticide applicator's license may be required based on position duties; AND Two years experience as a grounds keeper which included plant care; OR An Associate's degree in Landscape Technology or Horticulture; OR Completion of a Landscape Certification program or license in a horticultural specialty.
Duties (GMW2): Employee oversight - Assigns work to other employees; assists supervisor by planning, assigning, and inspecting the work of classified staff in the unit, adjusts work assignments and schedules to maintain adequate staffing levels and responds to fluctuating workloads; monitors employee performance and provides input to supervisor; assesses training needs of staff and assists supervisor in providing appropriate instruction; assists in providing initial orientation to new employees. This recruitment will be used to fill one (1) part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) Community Assistant for the Department of Housing operations at Oregon State University (OSU).
Community Assistants (CAs) are employees of Housing Operations, a unit of University Housing and Dining Services (UHDS). Supervised by the Apartment Living Manager, the CA is expected to work to accomplish the objectives of UHDS and to help create and maintain an effective living-learning community within the Orchard Court Complex, the GEM Apartments, 1045 SW Madison, and Dixon Lodge. The position requires a positive attitude towards CA responsibilities, UHDS, and its mission. Overall job effectiveness is tied to the CA's ability to establish and maintain credibility and good rapport with residents, and University faculty and staff.
CAs work as on-site staff and resource persons for the residents of Orchard Court, a 107-unit apartment complex, the GEM, a 231-unit high-rise apartment building, 1045 SW Madison, a 221-unit high-rise apartment building, and Dixon Lodge, a 30-unit two-story complex used for short-term and emergency housing, all serving the Oregon State University students and their families.
CAs are required to live in the Orchard Court Complex, the GEM apartments, 1045 SW Madison, or Dixon Lodge. CAs are required to maintain eligibility criteria to reside in student housing. Job duties include being on-call nights and weekends in addition to attending staff and one-on-one meetings as scheduled by the Apartment Living Manager.
CAs are responsible for creating and maintaining an environment that promotes an emotionally and physically safe and secure residential community. CAs are called upon to effectively respond to and manage a variety of crisis and emergency situations. CAs play a key role in the UHDS and OSU Emergency Management Plan and creating environments that encourage all students to be academically and personally successful and in the implementation of community, department, and university initiatives.
As employees of Oregon State University, CAs are University representatives and are to abide by university policies, state, federal, local laws, and UHDS policies in their relationships and contacts both on and off the campus throughout the duration of their appointment. The responsibilities and duties of the Community Assistant position include, but are not limited to the following:

* Attend and participate in a weekly staff meeting, regular meetings with their supervisor, and other meetings as directed

* Use email, duty phone, in-person, and written communication as needed and directed
* Check OSU e-mail twice a day and respond as requested

Working Conditions / Work Schedule
Terms and Conditions
In addition to the duties outlined in this position description, CAs must abide by the following terms and conditions. Failure to abide by any term and condition may result in termination:
* The Dixon Lodge Community Assistant position is a one-year student leadership opportunity, currently for the 2026-2027 academic year. The employment period begins in the summer of 2026 on July 1, 2026, and extends through the full academic year to June 30, 2027.
* The responsibilities and execution of the CA position may shift depending upon Oregon Health Authority guidelines.

* Meeting, Duty, and Training Requirements
* Successful completion of all required training sessions prior to and during service, including but not limited to:
* Online training, a series of online modules hosted on Canvas.
* CA Training, which may begin the first two weeks of the start dates and throughout the year as needed.
* Weekly Staff Meetings, on Tuesday evenings from 5:30-7:30 pmduring the academic year. If a class during this time is absolutely needed to complete graduation requirements, please consult as soon as possible with your supervisor for approval.
* Winter Training, which may begin as early as January 2, 2027.
* All CAs are expected to participate in training. Students interested in taking summer courses will be expected to plan their schedule around all training sessions.
* A weekly meeting time will be set at the beginning of each term in accordance with the CA and supervisor's schedules.
* CAs will be assigned to duty shifts while classes are not in session and on holidays when OSU is closed (Thanksgiving Break, Winter Break, Spring Break, Summer Break, and University Closures). Duty entails being within a ten-minute response time to the community.
* CAs must be available to work during these times as duty will be split evenly among them for these dates.
* University Housing & Dining Services is the primary employer/leadership opportunity for all CAs. The University allows domestic student employees to work on campus for 24 hours per week and international student employees to work on campus for 20 hours per week. The CA position is currently defined as 20 hours per week.
* Any weekend absence from campus or any special situations must be cleared in advance with the supervisor.
* Exceptions to the above responsibilities of the Position Description may be approved at the discretion of the Apartment Living Manager and the Associate Director of Operations
Working Conditions
CAs work in a positive apartment-style community residence. The CA position is routinely a night and weekend role. Occasionally, CAs encounter the following circumstances:
* Addressing high-risk medical and emergency situations.
* Experiencing periods of high stress when responding to student crises with a potential to cause secondary traumatic stress.
* Effectively communicating with members of the OSU Community and the public, some of whom may be hostile
* An unpredictable and dynamic work schedule/setting.
* Occasionally lifting up to 10 pounds, and rarely up to 70 pounds.
Compensation
* The Dixon Lodge CA is required to live within Dixon Lodge. Included is a bedroom with a private bathroom, air conditioning, and a communal kitchen.
* CAs receive a $720 per month stipend.
Please Note: The CA position could affect the financial aid package. CAs should check with a financial aid counselor for information on specific circumstances. Financial Aid is required by the US Department of Education to include CA compensation as part of a student's financial aid package. However, it cannot be counted against a student's "entitlement" monies (Pell Grants and Need Grants).
Candidates for this position may be required to complete a criminal history questionnaire. Offers of employment will be contingent upon a satisfactory criminal history check. The CA is an "At Will" employee. As such, the employee or UHDS may terminate the position at any time.

Job Description
The primary role and purpose of a teacher is to provide students with appropriate educational activities and experiences that will enable them to fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical and social growth. Instructional Strategies
