    $18.54 per hour As a Street Outreach Case Manager, you will have the opportunity to provide case management services for Epworth's Street Outreach Program. This employee is responsible for supporting youth with basic needs, crisis intervention, goal planning and attainment, and developing linkages within the network of community service providers. This position demonstrates commitment to the mission, vision, and values of the agency by engaging in respectful, cooperative relationships with customers (i.e., clients, employees, and external stakeholders); being accountable for providing services and ensuring safety to customers while empowering customers in achieving the agency's mission. Primary Responsibilities: Complete enrollment process with new Street Outreach clients; conduct required individual assessments and complete goal plans as needed; provide follow-up support as needed to reach goals. Complete required assessments to place homeless youth on the housing priority list. Build rapport and establish trust with homeless, runaway, and at-risk youth. Ensure a Strength-Based Treatment approach is utilized with clients. Deliver tangible items to clients as needed, including but not limited to food, hygiene items, safe sex kits, and clothing. Distribute written information, participate in community events and facilitate community presentations about the Street Outreach Program in an effort to reach the target population. Attend meetings in the community with participants as needed. Assist with the development and implementation of community service learning and other events for clients as assigned. Responsible for making decisions in a timely manner; independently determining next steps related to youth services for housing, medical, education, social and emotional supports; monitor and ensure youth receive identified, necessary resources for quality services. Provide coverage as needed in the Drop-in Center and conducting street outreach. Keeps supervisor informed of events, concerns, needs as appropriate. Work as a partner in the community to build new relationships with community members such as mentors, potential employers, other community resources and funding sources on behalf of the youth the program serves. Develop and maintain knowledge of programs in the St. Louis area that could be used as resources for youth. Create monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as required by funder contracts. Record client data, outcome measurement and other significant information into ETO and other required database systems in a timely manner to show the effectiveness of the Street Outreach program. Ensure program complies with accreditation and funder standards. Adhere to agency rules, policies, and procedures, including attendance, program/department-specific procedures, workplace safety, code of conduct, social media, training requirements, and confidentiality. Supervisory Responsibilities: May supervise student interns and volunteers. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in social work, drug and alcohol education, counseling, psychology, sociology, education, or criminal justice. Experience with runaway, homeless, at-risk, and foster care youth is preferred. Valid driver's license, dependable personal transportation, and valid auto insurance Age 21 years or older Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong oral and written communication skills, including speaking to diverse audiences High level of integrity and demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner Basic knowledge of dealing with the older youth population, dealing with crisis intervention, resource sharing, and client needs. Must be actively involved in Continuous Quality Improvement processes and standards promoting excellent services to our clients and help maintain an excellent environment for all staff and volunteers Ensure that the stated permanency rate and other outcomes are met by your team Monitor and ensure that the Associate Supervisors develop and implement permanent living plans for children in state custody or with a relative under court ordered supervision, emphasizing the safety of the child Monitor and ensure all Associate Supervisor duties are performed as required by the Children's Division, and Epworth. Coordinate with other Children's Permanency Partnership (CPP) agencies as needed, and coordinate with other Epworth programs and departments Ensure the process of documentation of metrics is correct and submitted on time, including monitoring of the FACES database Supervise and support the Administrative Assistant in their duties. Respond to any concern regarding the Epworth Foster Care Program. Maintain regular communication with foster parents, biological parents, court staff and other service providers to troubleshoot concerns and coordinate services ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITY #2: Description: Provide initial and ongoing support, direct supervision and development to Associate Supervisors. Co-facilitate monthly all staff meetings as well as meetings with the Supervisory team members bi-weekly. Monitor and ensure that all required recording and documentation of work with children and families, including written assessments, treatment plans, evaluations, aftercare plans and case closing summaries are complete in a timely fashion Meet for formal supervision with Associate Supervisors bi-weekly (weekly for new Supervisors having worked less than one year in the position) to review cases of permanency, step downs, and correct placement, as well as compliance with the FACES monitoring spreadsheet requirements. Follow all accreditation procedures and policies Provide ongoing professional development and training of supervisees via individual and group supervision, and link them to other agency and community training opportunities ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Represent program at all Epworth/CPP meetings (bi-monthly supervisors meeting, various committees), Children's Division meetings, court meetings Participate in quarterly record reviews for the Children's Permanency Partnership (CPP) and Peer Record Reviews for the Children's Division QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree preferred. Bachelor's degree is required. This position cannot be promoted to Director without a Master's degree. Must have 3-6 years of providing case management services. One year of providing supervision/coaching in a collaborative work environment. This position works closely with the Senior Accountant and Comptroller to ensure the accuracy of the agency's financial records. Enter daily cash receipts, client receipts, and contribution receipts into the Sage general ledger system. Complete monthly reports and distribute as required. Review, reconcile, and rebill outstanding client A/R billing. Assist in the preparation of the monthly Foster Care report. Enter agency expense report reimbursement into the SAGE general ledger system. Complete an unannounced audit of the petty cash funds/accounts in accordance with the petty cash policy. Count cash on hand and tally/review receipts regularly to reconcile and account for the agency funds. Keep current on any policy and procedure changes in the billing process. Maintain current contract rates and billing agency files. Prepare and enter client information on new and discharged residents in the SAGE accounting system. Prepare audit schedules and other compliance documents as requested by the Accounting Management. Perform other duties as assigned by Accounting Management. Adhere to policies and procedures, including attendance, program/department-specific procedures, workplace safety, code of conduct, training requirements, social media, and confidentiality. Develop cooperative internal customer relationships and implement strong customer service skills to support in attainment of the Agency's mission. Summary As a Youth Specialist with Epworth Residential you will have the opportunity to be actively involved in the day to day lives of youth ages 11-18, providing supervision of all youth activities to promote social, emotional, and intellectual development with the goal of safely returning to a family setting in the community. This involves the oversight of youth daily routines to ensure that treatment needs are met while maintaining safety and promoting wellbeing. Your Impact and Key Responsibilities Supervise, guide and role model with youth regarding their daily activities, in accordance with the daily program schedule. Activities include, but are not limited to hygiene procedures, chores, recreational activities, therapeutic and life skills groups, educational requirements, outings, and employment. Track and documentation of youth behavior and participation in database, communication logs, critical incident reports to Document youth behavior and participation in database, communication logs, critical incident reports, etc. Provide input and implement individual youth treatment plans in daily activities. Communicate with other members of the program, including therapists, case managers, lead youth advisors, campus supervisors, etc., regarding youth needs and concerns. Supervise and/or administer medications and complete documentation. Transport and accompany youth on appointments and/or outings. Ensure the general security, maintenance and cleanliness of the facility, equipment, and supplies; reporting any necessary campus or building repairs and issues as needed. Perform Safe Crisis Management (SCM) certified physical intervention techniques to provide crisis intervention and for annual certification. Serves as a training instructor to conduct required compliance agency training needs. Perform other duties as assigned. Education and Preferred Experience: Qualifications: Essential: High School diploma or GED. Minimum of one-year experience working with at-risk youth or adolescents displaying emotional/ behavioral challenges. Completion of at least 60 hours of college training with major course work in social sciences is preferred. Class E license (or must obtain within 30 days of hire.) Must be 21 years of age or older. Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Essential: Demonstrated ability to utilize strength-based, therapeutic crisis intervention methods with adolescents. Understanding of at-risk youth client population. Ability to effectively instruct clients and oversee their daily activities. Ability to read, interpret, and implement agency and program documents, including procedure manuals, treatment plans, etc. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with colleagues, community partners, families, etc. Computer skills: Microsoft Word and Outlook, and ETO database software. The physical requirements of this job include sitting, standing, walking and climbing stairs on a regular basis, lifting up to 100lbs, pulling and/or pushing on occasion.     The Family Support Network (FSN) Clinical Intern is responsible for providing ongoing in-home clinical services-family/individual therapy and parent education on a weekly basis to families in the St. Louis City or St. Louis County for children from 4 to age 18. Caseload size and readiness is determined by the Clinical Supervisor and/or Director of Family Services upon completion of orientation and onboarding, and is reviewed regularly based upon clinical documentation review and observation. The FSN Clinical intern will be supervised by an FSN therapist who will be a trained Field Instructor with a Master's Degree. Training for the MSW Intern will be a combination of Epworth training, on-the-job onboarding with FSN Management Staff, and shadowing opportunities with FSN family therapists. The Clinical Intern positions will receive a stipend payment $500 each at the beginning of their internships then another at the end. Internship Learning Plan Learning Objective #1: Student will learn how to conduct family assessments, develop treatment plans, measure outcomes and complete follow up evaluation home visits. 1. Student will complete experiential program orientation, including training on clinical best practices, documentation standards, and program procedures, and shadowing FSN therapists on client home visits. 2. Student will develop/establish professional, supportive helping relationships with clientele. 3. Student will provide parent education, psycho-education, skill-building, clinical interventions to client families. 4. Student will complete follow up home visits with clients to assess families' current functioning and provide referrals for resources as needed. 5. Student will utilize the Strengthening Families Protective Factors Framework to increase each assigned families' resilience against child abuse and neglect. Learning Objective #2: Student will learn to use a team approach with other treatment team professionals as appropriate, and network with community agencies on behalf of clients, providing resource referrals as needed. 1. Student will participate in and coordinate interdisciplinary treatment teams to ensure comprehensive client supportive services; working with service providers and community organizations. 2.
