The Engineer I/II/III - Air Permitting and Compliance will support air quality regulatory compliance by working with EQT Team Members and external business partners to maintain air quality compliance and protect environmental resources. This position will work closely with our engineering teams and asset management teams to ensure planned and operated facilities have the air permits necessary to maintain air quality compliance and solidify our position as Premier Operator. The qualified candidate will also ensure field operations teams are effective and efficiently meeting air permit monitoring, recordkeeping and reporting regulatory requirements that support compliance management activities. This individual will also support air compliance by driving emission calculation verifications and providing data management system input and the occasional field inspection.
Responsibilities
* Works under minimal supervision, relying on departmental expectations to perform the duties of the job. Uses judgment on when to get others involved.
* Compiles, reviews and submits air permit applications for sites located in EQT's footprint.
* Interfaces with state and federal regulatory agencies and negotiates flexible air permits.
* Relies on experience/ judgment to perform routine projects; working under general supervision.
* Assists in the development and design of operational and procedural improvements.
* Assists in the implementation and roll out of field-based programs such as process implementation and improvement, environmental programs, training, etc.
* Proactively monitor asset management work system for compliance obligations.

* Interprets and explains air quality regulations and requirements to various levels within EQT.
Required Experience/Skills
* Bachelor's degree in engineering.
* Minimum of 2 years of related permitting experience.
* Valid driver's license required.
* Strong understanding of air quality regulations on both Federal and state basis (OH, PA, WV)
* Proficient computer skills including Excel and Word. Strength in Excel or ability to quickly learn more advanced functions (query, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) is important.
* Ability to contribute in a team environment and as an individual contributor.
* Effective communication skills in both oral and written form, including technical writing.
* Knowledge of intermediate engineering concepts, fundamentals and theory.

Drive a tank truck/trailer or tractor/trailer to transport product in a safe, efficient, and professional manner. Obey all applicable federal, state and local laws. Follow MPC and site specific standard operating procedures for the loading and offloading process.
Perform post-trip inspection on equipment in alignment with MPC policy and DOT regulations. Complete all regulatory and customary paperwork. Ensure equipment is ready for the next shift.
Communicate all incidents, including safety and environmental concerns, according to company procedures.
Report all equipment issues in a timely manner.
Follow, maintain, and adhere to all safety rules and operating procedures, including all DOT regulations.

Troubleshoot incidents reported against IT applications. Assist in investigating issues to determine the root cause of problems. Support and monitor daily batch processing, responding to job failures in a timely manner.
Provide 24x7 primary and/or secondary support to core applications considered business critical.
Responsible for generating documentation throughout all phases of a project. This may include items such as project charters, technical specifications, and technical test plans.
Document configuration processes and procedures for all relevant SAP systems. Use flow charts, screen shots, and step-by-step instructions to document procedures. Coordinate and provide thorough and consistent end-user training on all SAP systems.
Follow established change management procedures to ensure that applications and modifications are implemented in a way that meets internal IT controls.
Manage applicable vendor relationships to ensure on-going product support appropriate to the needs of the Company.
Stay apprised of current trends in the business marketplace with a focus on product and service development, delivery and support, and applying key technologies. Provide input and direction on business unit technology strategies.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Possess strong analytical skills, which allows for the assessment of business processes and how they guide and shape application functionality.
Comprehend technical design specifications and possess knowledge of development tools and technologies in support of the Information Technology architecture. Stay current with IT industry trends and emerging technologies; suggest and lead application of new technologies.
Understand project plans and can clearly articulate their role, project goals, and timelines. Develop project plans for small projects. Partner with Project Managers to develop project plans for large projects and assist with resource management.
Working knowledge of COBIT5-based IT Governance and Management framework or other structured industry standard methodologies.
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills. Frequently present information to their team, department, and business areas.
Experience and Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent discipline.
At least four years of SAP configuration experience performing system analysis, design, development, and production support duties. Two or more years should be in SAP FSM.
Experience in SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP WM is desired.
ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) Foundation certification (at hire or within 12 months in position).
Preferred: SAP professional certification in one of the specific disiplines lists above.
2+ years supporting a system with an RDBMS. Experience in systems analysis, design, and development. Experience developing technical specifications based on the requirements provided from business units.

The Electrical Engineer Intern is a summer position designed to provide students with hands-on experience in midstream electrical design, construction, and operations. Working within EQT's Midstream Engineering Services team, the intern will assist in the design and development of electrical systems that support compressor stations, interconnects, dehydration facilities, master meter sites, and related midstream infrastructure.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to real-world energy projects, collaborate with experienced engineers and project managers, and gain a comprehensive understanding of the design and execution of electrical systems critical to natural gas transportation and processing.
The Midstream Asset Development Electrical Engineer Intern responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Assist electrical engineering and project management teams in the design, specification, and review of electrical systems for midstream facilities.
* Support the preparation and revision of one-line diagrams, load calculations, grounding plans, cable schedules, and equipment layouts.
* Collaborate on control system integration and interface design for equipment such as motors, switchgear, and transformers.
