During the past 10 years working diligently on positioning, growing, and ultimately driving three strategic acquisitions yielding well over $1 billion in shareholder returns, I have retired from day-to-day operations. My focus is now on select board work for up and coming cyber/tech-oriented companies.

Brian Pierce is a software technology industry veteran who has led and repeatedly built rapidly scaling businesses through dynamic, hands-on management through both organic and inorganic growth. An experienced software executive with more than 30 years of technical, sales and operational experience across all aspects of company operations in the business, including CEO, COO and President positions, in both software infrastructure and enterprise applications. I currently sit on the boards of Jitterbit Software and Wolfepak Software and am a Sr. Advisor at Sixth Street Partners. Brian has served as CEO of Rogue Wave Software from 2008 - 2019. Brian lead Rogue Wave through two Private equity holds and exits with Rogue Wave. Under Battery Ventures ownership 2008 - 2012, Rogue Wave grew revenue almost 65% while more than doubling EBITDA through four acquisitions. Under Audax ownership, 2012 - 2019, Rogue Wave grew revenue by almost 300% and EBITDA grew 250% through six acquisitions. Both exits achieved higher than industry average returns for our owners. Prior to Rogue Wave, Brian served as a Senior Vice President at Infor Global Solutions where he had responsibility for five independently operating business units with over $90M in revenue generating $65M in EBITDA. He also served as President and Chief Operating Officer of TriSyn Group, 2003 - 2008, an enterprise-class applications software company focused on the top 100 banks in the U.S. TriSyn became part of Infor in 2007. At TIBCO, 1999 - 2003, Brian carried many different operational executive roles and ended his tenure as Senior Vice President of Customer Satisfaction and Support, where he implemented a world-class global professional service and 24x7 support organization for a rapidly growing business. Brian also built a world class professional services organization globally at TIBCO. He was Vice President of Field Operations at InConcert, Inc., a Xerox Technology Venture company acquired by TIBCO in 1999. Brian started his career at Xerox where he spent 13 years in various technical, sales and management positions. Brian's passion is working with high performance teams to deliver maximum value for customers, employees and stakeholders.
