Synopsis of the role: This 12-week Internship Program (May 18-Aug 7, 2026) is a gateway to full-time career paths for current university students. The program provides meaningful projects with direct impact on our business as well as exposure to senior leaders and opportunities to network. The program is designed to support research and advanced development techniques for Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML).
What you will do:
Enable building the AI/ML prototypes using data, equations, and mathematical results to deliver insight into new and emerging solutions.
Partner in development of scalable solutions using large datasets with other data scientists on the team.
Integrate diverse data sources, data types and data structures into an innovative visualization prototype.
Work with key stakeholders to develop advanced solutions or improve existing solutions around data and analytics.
What you will need:
Graduate students obtaining a Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Analytics, Mathematics, or Computer Science or a related STEM field
Expected graduation date of May 2027
Experience or coursework in code development in SQL, Python, Hive, Impala, R
What could set you apart:
Strong SQL and/or Big Query skills in Big Data environment.
Formal coursework and/or familiarity with AI/Machine learning
Experience working with large datasets, knowledge of distributed computing tools (Spark, MapReduce, Hive, Apache Mahout etc.) a plus
Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to design algorithms, which may include data cleaning, data mining, data clustering and data preparation for visualization
Personal qualities desired: creativity, tenacity, curiosity, and passion for excellence in a rapidly changing prototyping environment
Experience in Spotfire and/or Tableau

Develop and maintain dashboards in Power BI, Google Analytics (GA4), and HubSpot that deliver real-time and cross-functional insights. Automate recurring reports and ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across platforms.
Assess campaign performance, monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs), identify trends, and recommend optimization strategies.
Create and present detailed reports and dashboards to stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
Mentor and guide junior analysts within the team.
Strategic Insight & Collaboration
Translate complex data into clear business insights and storytelling for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Platform Configuration & Optimization

Work with the BI team to design and implement Power BI data models and visualizations that integrate cross-functional datasets.

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in customer data analytics, marketing analytics, or in a similar role.
Strong proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools and software, specifically GA4 (e.g., SQL, Excel, GA4, Power BI, Hubspot Reporting, Azure, etc.)
Demonstrated experience analyzing marketing, consumer, and financial datasets.
Strong communication skills with ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
Ability to document data requirements for both development and non-technical consumption.
Knowledge of digital marketing channels and tactics.
Preferred

Key Accountabilities
Data Governance Operations
Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the enterprise data governance framework, including policies, standards, and procedures.
Support the development and execution of data quality rules, issue tracking, and remediation processes.
Maintain and enhance metadata repositories and data catalogs using tools such as Informatica or Microsoft Purview.
Data Stewardship and Collaboration
Partner with data owners, stewards, and business units to define and document data definitions, lineage, and usage.
Facilitate working groups and workshops to gather requirements and promote data governance awareness across the organization.
Risk and Compliance Support
Monitor and report on data governance metrics, including data quality trends, audit findings, and remediation progress.

Key Accountabilities
Data Governance Operations
Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the enterprise data governance framework, including policies, standards, and procedures.
Support the development and execution of data quality rules, issue tracking, and remediation processes.
Maintain and enhance metadata repositories and data catalogs using tools such as Informatica or Microsoft Purview.
Data Stewardship and Collaboration
Partner with data owners, stewards, and business units to define and document data definitions, lineage, and usage.
Facilitate working groups and workshops to gather requirements and promote data governance awareness across the organization.
Risk and Compliance Support
Monitor and report on data governance metrics, including data quality trends, audit findings, and remediation progress.
Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and evidence of data governance controls and practices.
Project and Initiative Support
Contribute to enterprise initiatives such as the Modern Data Platform migration, report certification programs, and regulatory reporting enhancements.
Participate in cross-functional projects to ensure data governance requirements are embedded in system implementations and process changes.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in information systems, Business, Risk Management, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or risk/compliance roles.
Familiarity with data governance frameworks (e.g., DCAM, NIST Privacy Framework, FFIEC).
Experience with data quality tools, metadata management platforms, and reporting tools.
Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.

Creating customized diagrams and user-defined calculations as needed
Design, develop and deploy business intelligence solutions with SQL queries for best results, filters, and graphs to better understand your data at all levels for performance improvements and suggestions
Qualifications and Education Requirements

5+ years' experience in banking and finance
5+ years' experience programming skills with querying languages: SQL, SAS, R, Python, etc.

Although knowledge of the options industry is an obvious asset, we are seeking college students from a wide range of backgrounds, specifically in the areas of mathematics, economics, physics, engineering or computer science. Candidates should be comfortable working in a trading environment, and possess excellent communication, analytical, computer, problem-solving, and time management skills. Successful Interns will have an opportunity to be accepted into our full-time Trading Analyst class, where they will learn the intricacies of options trading and the skills needed to make a successful career in market making.
Our training program teaches analysts the essentials of stock options trading and the skills that make for a successful career on the trading floor. Trading Analysts will be employed as option floor associates and receive a guaranteed salary during their time in the program, with the expectation that 'graduates' will go on to become Junior Traders then onto highly compensated Group One Traders.
EXPECTATIONS
Keen awareness of critical situations, ability to shift from fast market to slow market conditions quickly and efficiently.
Anticipate the needs of traders throughout the day, quick comprehension and delivery of tasks.
Balance/resolve position discrepancies before opening bell; notify trading staff of unexpected position changes intra-day.
Ability to filter information to trading staff by necessity; reporting pertinent information to management in a timely fashion.
Interns are required to articulately voice needs of the trading staff to IT, vendors, clearing firm, brokers/other market makers, and the exchange if necessary.
