Keith currently serves as the EVP and Chief Financial Officer of Equinix, Inc., a global interconnection and data center company, that has been recognized for its leadership in the industry. Equinix was invited to join the S&P 500 in 2015, along with a number of REIT indices over the past couple of years.

Keith joined Equinix in 1998 and has held the position of CFO since 2005. He has steered the company financials through a period of exceptional growth to exceed revenues of greater than $3.6 billion in the current year with a market capitalization of $28 billion and an enterprise value in excess of $35 billion. During his time at Equinix, he has completed 14 acquisitions and deployed greater than $17 billion of capital to fund the growth. In 2015, Keith oversaw the conversion of Equinix to a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) after implementing the Commissionaire Tax Structure across the European businesses.

He acts as an advisor to Entefy, Inc., and has a number of interests in early stage companies in New York and Silicon Valley including Bright Locker, Medigram, Property Walk, Taction Technology and Talent Sky.

Prior to joining Equinix, Keith held a number of increasingly significant senior finance roles at International Wireless Communications, Inc. in San Mateo, California.

As Chief Sales Officer, Michael Campbell is responsible for the strategy and execution of all Equinix sales efforts globally, including direct sales and the entire ecosystem of go-to-market channel partners. Campbell has also held various sales leadership positions at NCR, UUNET, CompuServe, MCI and WorldCom. Campbell holds a B.S. in marketing, with a minor in communications, from the University of Dayton.

You will be asked to do a lot of different things, and exposed to a lot even if it was not what you were hired to do. Company seeks top talent.

How would you improve Equinix's culture?

Take company values seriously and be respectful to all employees. Those not working in corporate get left out of events, swag and other ways to feel important in the company.

What do you like best about Equinix's CEO and the leadership team?

Leadership team has quarterly all hands meetings and takes questions and seems to respond favorably.

What's the diversity at Equinix like?

Company seems diverse, in my team there are a LOT of H1B visa hires instead of those in local market. Seems they rather pay them less than hire qualified talent locally. Women are underrepresented across the board outside of administrative roles.
