The Role: Customer Service Officer - To assist Guests and maintain a safe environment for Guests and Employees. Responsibilities to include but not limited to: * Strategically assigned throughout the facility to deter incidents and remain accessible to guests. * Assist guests by providing information and services or directing guests to the appropriate source for assistance. * Provide security for special events, fights, parties, employee events, and tournaments. * Act quickly in emergency response, which includes injured guests and employees, fires, fights, thefts, and arrests. * Observe and report any hazardous, dangerous, or unsafe conditions that may cause injury to guests and/or employees. * Patrol and monitor entrances, gaming floor, and bar areas for the control of alcohol consumption. * Monitor the physical access control for the facility verifying authorization and issuing visitor and employee access badges in accordance with the Department of Business Regulations (DBR) and Rhode Island Lottery (RILOT). * When appropriate, detain and restrain persons that have or are about to commit a crime or present danger. * When appropriate, eject persons who are in violation of company policies and/or procedures. * Any other duties that are reasonably assigned by management. Qualifications: * Previous work experience as a security officer or guard. * Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety. * Excellent surveillance and observation skills. * Able to interact professionally with guests * High School diploma is required. License Requirements: * Serve Safe Certified. * Must be able to be licensed by the Rhode Island Department of Business Regulations, as well as be able to complete a background check performed by them. * Rhode Island Pistol Permit Physical/Mental Requirements: * Constantly stand, walk several hundred feet, climb, carry, hear, bend, and stoop * Constantly use manual dexterity, following directions, adhere to detail * Frequently use eye/hand coordination Working Conditions: * Exposed to noise, smoke and odors. * Environment may be hot, cold, wet, humid, or loud for long periods of time. * Working with others as well as independently. Maintain accurate records in accordance with applicable regulations, policies, and procedures. Responsibilities: * Adhere to all sign in/out policies and procedures * Log onto BPS high speed currency counter * Remove cashier bag/bank from cart, verify change, verify checks, run tape, Once the monies are processed via the BPS1000 will verify totals on Cashier Reconciliation Sheet * Prepare VLT and Table Game drops for count taking precautions to ensure that drop boxes are empty. This is accomplished by following prescribed protocol. * Check all trolleys to be sure that all drop boxes have been removed. * VLT's - count drop by vendor * Table Games - processed via one run * Adhere to all company and departmental policies and procedures * At end of shift leave work area in a neat condition and bag tickets for storage * Must be familiar with and trained annually in applicable Title 31 protocol Qualifications: * Prior count room experience preferred. * Must be detail oriented. * Ability for the proficient use of currency counting equipment and 10-key adding machine. * Must possess ability to handle standard situations in which specific steps are involved. * Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. The Role: The Shared Services Staff Accountant is responsible for the journal entry creation, account reconciliation, and daily revenue reporting for multiple C&R locations. This Shared Services Staff Accountant role will also assist with other Shared Services tasks such as standardizing the COA and reviewing reconciliations to identify mis postings for all C&R. Responsibilities: * The following processes will be performed in the Fill Bank (but not limited to): * The Fill Bank transactions will include table fills, table credits, chip transfers, bank to bank transfers, balancing chips, maintaining inventory for both value and non-value chips, the buying and selling of the bank, the rotation of chips and any other duties associated with the operation of a Fill Bank. * They will maintain a spare float to be sued once the current fill banker has balanced and before the next shift begins. * They will be responsible for both computerized and manual fills and credits and will utilize a bird cage in all chip transfers in or out of the bank. * Responsible for accurate record keeping in all aspects surrounding duties and responsibilities. * Must be knowledgeable of all company and departmental policies and procedures. * Must be familiar with and trained annually in Title 31 protocol. * Promotes teamwork and cooperation with Supervisors, co-workers and internal guests. * Performs other duties as assigned.
