Notifies management concerning needs for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment. Turns valves to drain machines or tanks and disconnects pipes. Sprays machines, tanks, and conveyors with water to loosen and remove dirt or other foreign matter. Scrubs machines, tanks, tables, pans, bowls, compartments, bins and conveyors. Connects hoses and lines to pump and starts pump to circulate cleaning and sterilizing solution through hoses and lines. Scrubs interior of disconnected pipes, valves, spigots, gauges and meters. Mixes cleaning solutions and dilute acids. Draws off samples of cleaning solutions from mixing tanks for laboratory analysis. Replaces defective sections of metal coils and lines. Lubricates machinery.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    One year general work experience or equivalent education. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
