Job Purpose:

We are currently hiring equipment maintenance technicians for our high technology printed circuit board (PCB) facility in San Jose, CA. This facility supports leading edge OEM's in the defense, aerospace, data center and semiconductor markets. In San Jose, we are proud knowing "What we make, makes a difference".

Nature of Duties:

* Performs preventative maintenance according to assigned equipment responsibilities. Effectively coordinates activity and partners with area manufacturing and engineering teams.
* Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting of electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process
* Knows how to work safely on control cabinets and electrical panels
* Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings
* Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform equipment evaluations
* Rebuild & repair manufacturing equipment as required
* May perform equipment modifications as directed by Manager
* Removal and installation of old & new equipment, fabrication, Plumbing, Welding, Electrical trouble shooting, roof repairs, ability to follow established safety guidelines while working close to or with chemicals
* Other related tasks as assigned
* Must be available to work overtime and weekends when needed

Education and Experience:

* Minimum 4 years of maintenance experience preferably in manufacturing environment
* Experience in a printed circuit board, electroplating, semiconductor or other process related industry is a plus
* Associates / Two year technical Degree is preferred
* Some heavy lifting
* Overtime, emergency calls and some weekends, as needed
* Mechanically inclined, able to work with a large variety of hand tools and power tools, operate a Forklift, Electric High & Low Voltage
* Plumbing (sweat copper) tread pipe, work with PVC & Poly Pro

Schedule: Day Shift - Tuesday to Saturday

What You Will Do:

• Achieve assigned financial metrics via sales of Life Science capital equipment while managing time, travel, and investments in territory.
• Interact daily and effectively with Customers by phone, email, and in-person to handle commercial requests, technical inquiries, and product-related complaints.
• Work closely with Customer Operations, Applications Management, and Field Service teams to ensure equipment is quoted, delivered, installed, and demonstrated correctly and on schedule with no erosion of margin.
• Communicate Customer concerns, industry trends, and competitive activity across different business units and functions.
• Maintain an accurate monthly sales forecast accompanied by feedback to sales management to support projections.
• Periodically organize and/or attend relevant trade shows and professional development seminars.
• Handle other duties and responsibilities as they are periodically assigned in compliance with the spirit and letter of laws, government regulations, and company policies while demonstrating the highest standards of professional conduct.

What You Need to be Successful:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Marketing
• 3-5 years’ sales experience consistently exceeding sales goal
• Prior Scientific capital-related sales experience is preferred.
• Successful history of selling new products, increasing product utilization and protecting existing market share position
• Ability to travel as necessary (overnight)
• Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record

Compensation:

Your targeted annual compensation is $180-200K and is uncapped.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:

This position's responsibilities include, troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical and pneumatic systems. Perform preventative maintenance on injection molding machines. Core equipment includes injection molding machines, automation and assembly work cells, material handling and chiller system.

MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILIETIES:

7. Plan and carry out work assignments, using blueprints, schematic drawings, technical manuals, wiring diagrams, or liquid or air flow sheets, following prescribed regulations, directives, or other instructions as required

8. Research catalogs or repair part lists to locate sources for repair parts, requisitioning parts and recording their receipt.

9. Keep records of maintenance, repair, and required updates of equipment.

10. Test or calibrate components or equipment, following manufacturers' manuals and troubleshooting techniques, using hand tools, power tools, or measuring devices.

11. Repair, maintain and troubleshoot injection molding machines, automation, auxiliary equipment, grinders, dryers, etc.

12. Dismantle and inspect parts, rebuild and overhaul complete machines troublesome machine components.

13. Service and maintain robotics, hoists, power and miscellaneous material handling equipment.

14. Maintain and repair plant systems to include plumbing, heating and air conditioning, ventilating and exhaust equipment, compressors, etc.

15. Perform electrical repairs to machines and equipment. Diagnose electrical / electronic malfunctions, troubleshoot microprocessors.

16. Perform preventive maintenance activities on all production equipment in a timely manner. Use precision measuring instruments such as scale, calipers, dividers, level, micrometers, etc.

17. This position may be also have responsibility for the duties listed under the Facility Technician.

18. Other duties as assigned needed to help drive our Vision, Mission, and Values.

EXPECTATION

* Develop skills to assist Mold, Set-Up, and Process Technicians as needed.
* Use trouble shooting knowledge to solve straightforward problems.
* NO disciplinary actions in the last nine (9) months.

REQUIREMENTS

Education/Certification

* Associates Degree from a Technical school AND 3 years of hands on experience
* Knowledge of ERP system (IQMS preferred)

EXPERIENCE

* Minimum 5+ years of hands on experience

* Ability to perform root cause analysis
* Ability to critically think to resolve issues

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

* Heavy work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

* Significant use of hands
* Must be able and willing to wear personal protective equipment as required including:

o Protective eyewear
