Position Summary:

Responsibilities:

Complete equipment condition reports and daily checklists for assigned equipment, providing updates to the Project Superintendent daily.
Perform regular cleaning of machines, including daily sweeping of cabs, trash removal, weekly interior cleaning, and bi-weekly lubrication of doors and windows.
Understand and follow all Company safety policies and procedures, ensuring the safety of both yourself and those working in your vicinity.
Monitor and report equipment fuel levels to the Superintendent or Foreman daily to ensure timely refueling.
Note any needed supplies or issues with the equipment, such as grease, oil, rags, cleaning supplies, or the need for steam cleaning, and inform the Superintendent.

The EquipmentOperator performs duties relevant to safely and effectively operating heavy equipment in the course of daily operations. The EquipmentOperator also makes sure the operations floor is clear of obstacles, as well as that traffic flows smoothly, efficiently, and safely to maintain production.
Your Role:
Safely and effectively operate heavy equipment to maintain productivity in the effective operation of the transfer starting or material recovery facility during daily operations.
Ensures that the operation area is consistently clear of obstacles and that traffic is flowing smoothly.
Performs general house duties in assigned areas to ensure safe, clean, and efficient operation of the facility.
Keeps the entire floor clean and maintained by use of bobcats, front-end loaders, excavators, and/or similar equipment such as industrial forklifts, man lifts, and skid steer-type loaders.
Loads and monitors the conveyor system with a loader based on the facility.
Load and unload trucks with a skid steer and forklift based on a daily schedule.
Performs routine maintenance checks on mobile equipment and facility equipment and reports malfunctions to the Supervisor.
Work all assigned shifts from the scheduled start to the scheduled end time.
Take an active role in the improvement of safety and health in the workplace.
Reads, understands, and applies information such as lockout/tagout procedures, safety rules, job hazard analyses, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
Participate in all required Company meetings, including weekly safety meetings.
Maintains reasonable, regular, punctual attendance consistent with Company policies, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and other federal, state, and local standards.
Adapts to changing duties, as required, based on business needs.

Job DescriptionJob Summary:We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Press Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will operate mechanical power presses or hydraulic presses to produce high-quality parts from steel coils, adhering to work instructions and production standards.
Essential Functions:· Obtain scheduled workloads from the coil line plan to the actual board.
· Identify part numbers from assigned work orders, retrieve the orange part pattern from the pattern rack, and compare it to the first piece produced to ensure proper quality.
· Submit the number of pieces produced on each work order in a timely manner following established procedures.
· Remove dies from presses and return them to the proper storage area.
· Set up new dies, square them in the press, and perform all other procedures required to set up the press for the assigned job.
· Verify that the correct steel is placed on the coil reel.
· Operate the press to manufacture parts according to work order requirements for quantity.
· Perform daily preventative maintenance on the press, flattener, and coil reel.
· Regularly check parts for quality according to established procedures.
· Follow all lock-out/tag-out procedures and lock storage policies.
· Report any nonconforming conditions to the supervisor.
· Follow 7-S policies, procedures, and meet goals.
· Adhere to all safety rules and policies, immediately reporting any unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
· Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
· Participate in all required training.
Additional Responsibilities:· Return all tools and equipment to designated locations.
· Empty scrap buckets from the assigned coil line as needed.
· Move loads of completed parts to storage areas as required.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
