Essential Functions
Understand and execute paving and concrete procedures while following instructions to meet with specifications of the project.
Safe equipment operation used to assist in preparing and finishing job sites
Concrete finishing which includes setting forms, tearing out and grading
Finish surfaces by smoothing and tamping asphalt material to the proper grad and thickness
Job site preparation which includes general labor work, the understanding of grades, efficient time management, and the prevention of possible hazards
Supervisory Responsibility
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates primarily in an outdoor work environment, in all weather conditions.
Physical Demands
The employee is frequently required to stand and occasionally climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must be able to push, pull, move and lift up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to climb and descend a flight of stairs as needed.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. Extended hours, nights and weekend work may be necessary based on business needs. While in season the typical work week is approximately 50-60 hours.

This position may require travel and out of town work on occasion.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

* Starts engine, shifts gears, presses pedals, and turns steering wheel to operate loader. Moves levers to lower and tilt bucket and drives front-end loader forward to force bucket into bulk material. * Perform assignments outlined by supervisors and standard procedures are followed in the performance of duties. Work is inspected periodically for safety and economy in operation. Performs routine maintenance on loader, such as lubricating, fueling, and cleaning.
* Maintain equipment in proper working order.
* Maintain and review maintenance logs for repairs.
* Maintain an effective system of communications with supervisors, drivers and crew, laborers and operators, and customers serviced.
* Safely operate loader and perform mechanic and general plant maintance duties.
* Perform all duties in a safe manner and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
* Ability to follow instructions, maintain good housekeeping around the plant site.
* Perform daily pre-trip safety inspections, report defects or problems.

Job Summary
Department: Mining
Reports to: Mining Supervisors
Nature of Position: To operate Crusher circuit and provide a consistent stream of high quality crushed feed stone to the washer.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Operation of equipment per procedures and work instructions.
* Operate jaw crusher circuit in a manner which will provide continuous feed to the washer.
* Operate circuit in a manner which will facilitate continuous operations from the haul truck fleet.
* Record and document process operating data.
* Operate crusher and associated equipment.
* Perform operator maintenance and lubrication as required.
* Adjust process according to work instructions.
* Observe process and report variation and changes in ore being processed to the washer operator, and shift supervisor.
* Report the condition of equipment and maintenance needs to the supervisor.
* Maintain a clean and safe work area.
* Conduct daily safety inspections of the work area and report conditions as required.
Measurements performed/Tools and Gauges: Grease Gun
Machines and equipment involved: Grizzly feeder, jaw crusher, conveyor systems, rock breaker, and associated sub assemblies of the crusher system.
Job Requirements:
* Must be able to work with minimal supervision (self-directed) and function as a productive team member.
* Ability to read, write and perform basic math at the level commonly associated with the completion of high school or equivalent.
* Good verbal communication skills.
* Ability to lift 50 lbs
Working Conditions: The majority of work is performed indoors in an observation control room. Required climbing stairs, ladders, and standing to observe the entire operation. Requires the skilled use of safety and protective equipment to include lockouts, lanyards, safety glasses, and other items such as hard hats, ear protection and foot and fall protection where required.
Education and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent. Prefer one to two years' experience in process or mining positions in the industrial minerals industry.

Responsibilities
In this position you will:

Preform preventive maintenance as recommended by company and related manufacturers
Keep accurate, complete, and timely records of repair work performed
Maintain work area, chemical storage area, and equipment in a condition that promotes good safety practices
Use and maintain all personal protection equipment recommended for each work situation
Exercise respect and professionalism when working with landowners and other staff
Take on other tasks and responsibilities as needed
Physical Demands

Ability to bend, squat, twist, and crouch to achieve angle and positions required to perform various repairs
Standing for extended periods of time
Driving between farm sites to move supplies

Desired Qualifications
