This role is responsible for operating a Brausse die cutter and a 2-color Heidelberg Speed Master press that is used for scoring and perforating previously printed sheets, meeting target production speeds, ensuring quality standards are met for each project, and adhering to company guidelines. This role plays a crucial part in the efficient and effective completion of our production processes, contributing to our overall business success.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Machine setups, creating quality products, general maintenance, and clean up.
Receive work assignments and communicate expectations and daily schedule with peers and management.
Prepare each job in accordance with the job order and follow schedule to prioritize and complete proper workload.
Follow and comply with all safety and company rules, regulations, policies.
Maintain a consistently high level of production to assure a continuous work flow of the printing press.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and write simple correspondences.
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Perform duties and work in other departments as needed or assigned.

General Qualifications:
1-3 years of education and/or experience
Excellent oral communications and written skill
Experience leading a crew of 2-4 people
Experience in the telecom industry or similar utility industry
Strong work ethic
Must have valid drivers license and ability to meet our insurance providers qualifications
Basic Math Skills
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 40 pounds etc.)
Good hand-eye coordination
Familiarity with power tools and machinery is a plus
Communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to safety rules
Apprenticeship or specialization is an asset, but not necessary
