Title: Parks Equipment Operator FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Job Purpose: The purpose of this position is to operate equipment necessary to complete various facets of maintenance duties. This is semi-skilled, manual labor work involving responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of a variety of equipment including large and mid-sized tractors, dump trucks, trash trucks, grass trimmers, and chainsaws, as well as making minor repairs and performing routine maintenance on assigned equipment. An Equipment Operator may serve as a Lead Worker. New assignments will be accompanied by detailed instructions, but routine work will be performed independently.
