Key Responsibilities: Equipment Operation: Operate heavy equipment, including commercial-sized forklifts with 14-foot forks and standard forklifts. Yard Management: Move vehicles and equipment throughout the yard, monitor lot inventory and vehicle check-in, and respond to production, warehousing, and transportation needs. Vehicle Staging: Unload car haulers and stage cars for the inventory department. Dismantling Support: Support dismantling by bringing unprocessed cars to dismantlers and placing vehicles back in the yard. Vehicle Crushing: Crush vehicles that have reached their useful life. Scrap Loading: Load scrap haulers with crushed cars that are ready for final disposal. Inventory Maintenance: Maintain inventory locations and the integrity of vehicles.
