We are looking for an experienced Paver Operator that likes to work outside and takes pride in a job completed safely and efficiently.
SUMMARY
Drives and operates pavers, as well as one or more machines such as backhoes, grinders, graders, lowboys, roller, jackhammer, compressors, and trucks. To perform specified activity such as moving material, leveling, grading, and paving by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Has working knowledge of equipment operation for machines assigned, including driving.
Checks equipment daily for oil, fluid levels, damage and wear areas (teeth, grinder, etc.). Fuels equipment daily.
Ability to determine speed and direction on machine, based on knowledge of compressibility of material under changing temperatures, so that ridges do not form by excessive pressure.
Thorough understanding of all aspects of paving industry prep work, grades, drainage, paving patterns, aggregate size, job specifications, oil consistencies, compaction and other details related to asphalt paving.
Reports all damage or required repairs as needed to the mechanic on duty in a timely manner.
Completes equipment checklist and turns in on a daily basis.
Loads and unloads equipment from trailers. Ensures that equipment is correctly secured on trailers.
Ensures equipment is cleaned at the end of each job, each day.
Operates equipment safely at all times. Does not allow riders on the equipment while operating.
Follows all safety rules and regulations and practices preventive safety measures.
Performs non-operator, general labor work as needed including driving, shoveling, raking, rolling and flagging duties.
QUALIFICATIONS
Valid driver's license and good driving record.
Class A CDL preferred.
Follows all traffic regulations.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to work weekends and occasional nights.
Ability to travel to various worksites.

Girard Resources & Recycling, LLC is currently taking applications for full-time position as a Heavy Equipment Operator. We manufacture, sell, and deliver topsoil, bark, aggregate products, recycled concrete and asphalt products to residential and commercial companies. We are looking for an individual who has some experience in operating any and all core equipment, which includes dozers, excavators, backhoes, and loaders.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Load dump trucks and trailers with product.
- Screening topsoil.
- Movement of material in the yard.
- Yard Maintenance.
- Sorting materials.
- Crushing concrete and asphalt.
- Tarp bunkers.
- Maintaining material stockpiles.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and clean, lubricate, and refill equipment.
Required Skills:
- Experience with screening plants.
- Experience with crushing plants.

We are looking for an experienced Paver Operator that likes to work outside and takes pride in a job completed safely and efficiently.
SUMMARY
Drives and operates pavers, as well as one or more machines such as backhoes, grinders, graders, lowboys, roller, jackhammer, compressors, and trucks. To perform specified activity such as moving material, leveling, grading, and paving by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Has working knowledge of equipment operation for machines assigned, including driving.
Checks equipment daily for oil, fluid levels, damage and wear areas (teeth, grinder, etc.). Fuels equipment daily.
Ability to determine speed and direction on machine, based on knowledge of compressibility of material under changing temperatures, so that ridges do not form by excessive pressure.
Thorough understanding of all aspects of paving industry prep work, grades, drainage, paving patterns, aggregate size, job specifications, oil consistencies, compaction and other details related to asphalt paving.
Reports all damage or required repairs as needed to the mechanic on duty in a timely manner.
Completes equipment checklist and turns in on a daily basis.
Loads and unloads equipment from trailers. Ensures that equipment is correctly secured on trailers.
Ensures equipment is cleaned at the end of each job, each day.
Operates equipment safely at all times. Does not allow riders on the equipment while operating.
Follows all safety rules and regulations and practices preventive safety measures.
Performs non-operator, general labor work as needed including driving, shoveling, raking, rolling and flagging duties.
QUALIFICATIONS
Valid driver's license and good driving record.
Class A CDL preferred.
Follows all traffic regulations.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to work weekends and occasional nights.
Ability to travel to various worksites.
Ability to work long hours and in all weather conditions.
