Maintain and clean assigned Company equipment as well as ensure equipment is mechanically sound and in good working order. Because of the emergency response and operational nature of the position, a continuing condition of employment is that the applicant/candidate acknowledges and agrees to be on-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year and on occasion will require work during seek-ends and holidays. Responsible for keeping your training record up to date with all DOT /OSHA and Company required training Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business. Other Duties as Assigned 1-3 Years, verifiable vacuum truck service within the commercial trucking industry. Possess Hazardous Waste and Tank Endorsements Possess a Valid CDL Class A or B with X (Haz-mat and Tanker) endorsement and an acceptable driving record. Able to use Mobile Computer Able to work with little if no direct supervision and an aptitude to complete assigned work Knowledge of principles and methods for moving fluids in the vacuum truck services in the oilfield industry. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses and maintenance. Strong knowledge in the operation of equipment used in commercial transportation. Smartphone required for Electronic Logging Device. Complete understanding of DOT's safety program & standards. Possess excellent communications and human relations skills. Mechanical aptitude and experience troubleshooting transportation equipment is preferred. Educational Requirements: High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
