Reports to: * The Crane Operator is responsible and accountable to the Yard Supervisor Supervises: * None. The Crane Operator is responsible to maintain and operate overhead crane and forklift to lift, move and position loads in a safe manner.
* Plan, specify, and position rigging equipment for accomplishing work in a safe and efficient manner.
* Operating cranes to offload and backload tugs, barges, and etc.
* Manipulate crane controls to regulate speed and direction of crane and hoist movement according to written, verbal or signal instruction.
* Determine load weights and check them against lifting capacities to prevent overloading.
* Clean, lubricate, and maintain the crane, including mechanisms such as cables, pulleys, or grappling devices, making repairs as necessary.
* Inspect cables or grappling devices for wear and install or replace cables as needed.
* Complete daily checklist, delivery logs, maintenance schedule and all other necessary paperwork neatly and accurately.
* Maintaining the appearance of the forklift and crane by keeping it clean, free of debris and painted.
* Follow all safety procedures during all crane and forklift operations.
* Know and understand McAllister's Safety Policy and comply with all the requirements of the Quality Safety Management System.
* Assisting other departments as needed.
* Ensuring personnel under your direction work in a safe and efficient manner.
* Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
* Proven experience working with an overhead crane, in all types of weather conditions.
* Licensed as required under federal, state and local law.
* Crane Operator Certificate from a nationally recognized and accredited certification program preferred.
* Current Transportation Workers Identification Card.
Physical Requirements:
* The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
* The employee will frequently use both hands to grasp rails while climbing, to hold and carry tools equipment, to operate tools and machinery.
* The employee must be able to lift 50 pounds or more on a consistent basis.

Interact with customers as needed, providing excellent customer service and addressing their requirements professionally.
Maintain excavation equipment and gather all necessary equipment from the branch and/or rental companies to ensure smooth operations during excavation tasks.
Perform excavation work in confined spaces and open trenches, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
Locate and arrive at job sites promptly, ensuring safe driving and operation of service vehicles between locations.
Requirements
Essential requirement: Construction experience in both residential and commercial projects.
Mandatory requirement: Possession of a current CDL Class A license for this position.
Trenchless water, sewer & gas experience is a plus.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, as required for the role.

About the role
As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient processing of inbound materials and refuse of various forms through Reworld's industrial disposal process.
Position Responsibilities:
Receive and process inbound materials, through the safe operation of various types of industrial equipment, such as: forklift, track hoe, skid steer, vacuum truck, tanker truck, roll-off truck, walking floor trailer, pressure washer, material handling equipment, and various hand tools
Receive, weigh, unpack, and label containers, as necessary
Safely operate industrial equipment to consolidate dumped refuse on the tipping floor

We are growing and have an excellent opportunity for a Skilled Heavy Equipment Operator, especially backhoe and/mini excavator for sewer & water service repairs/replacements. We specifically use a Four Stick, Foot Swing Backhoe and CASE Extendahoe.
This position is paid on a commission basis with a guaranteed minimum hourly rate. This averages to a range between $60,000-$80,000 per year.
Responsibilities
* Operates back-hoe, mini-excavator, skid steers, and/or other excavation machinery equipped with scoops, shovels, or buckets to excavate and load loose materials on residential and commercial job sites.
* Load, unload and secure equipment on transport trailers according to guidelines.
* Follow OSHA and Roto-Rooter safety procedures.
* Work collaboratively with a crew to efficiently complete excavation work on various projects.
* Interact with customers as needed, providing excellent customer service and addressing their requirements professionally.
* Maintain excavation equipment and gather all necessary equipment from the branch and/or rental companies to ensure smooth operations during excavation tasks.
* Perform excavation work in confined spaces and open trenches, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
* Locate and arrive at job sites promptly, ensuring safe driving and operation of service vehicles between locations.
Requirements
* Essential requirement: Construction experience in both residential and commercial projects.
* Mandatory requirement: Possession of a current CDL Class A license for this position.
* Trenchless water, sewer & gas experience is a plus.
* Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, as required for the role.

Responsible for controlling warehouse equipment that requires training/certification in a stand up fork lift/electric pallet jack. Position is full-time and on-site.
Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent; 0-1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to operate a forklift.
