Work is strenuous because of the large equipment operated, the frequent adjustments made, and the adverse operating conditions. Considerable strain is caused by the constant vibration of the equipment and the jerking and jolting from operating over rough surfaces. Who You Are Previous experience in construction, recycling, mining, or other heavy work environments. Experience with Wheel loaders, Skid-Steer Loaders and Backhoe Loaders required. Strong work ethic, dependable attitude. Basic mechanical understanding of pumps, belts, valves, and pressure gauges. Reliable team player who can follow directions and communicate clearly on the job. Comfortable working outdoors in changing weather and able to lift up to 50 lbs. What You'll Do Clean concrete/asphalt and prep it for recycling by operating wash plant equipment. Observe and adjust water pressure, flow, and treatment agents levels. Move, load, and organize materials to maintain steady workflow and clean stockpiles. Inspect equipment during your shift, report issues right away, and help with light maintenance or cleanup. Learn to operate additional machinery over time with on-the-job training. Job Summary: Operates material handler (grapple/magnet) and front-end loaders (>9 tons), and forklift to assist unloading customers and load trailers to prepare for transport of scrap materials. SUMMARY OF JOB FUNCTION: The Drilling Operator is responsible for setting up and operating equipment such as Hitachi, Schmoll, Lenz, Pluritec, X-Ray and Routing machines. She/He will perform drilling tasks according to the travelers or as directed by Managers/Supervisors. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Drilling Check traveler for due date, material type, and special request for priority before starting the drilling process. Operate Pluritec and Spot Face machines to drill boards. Inspect and produce products using tools such as microscope and micrometer. Check registration and make adjustments as needed before running multi-layered product. Inspect for debris, burr, and missing or shallow holes after completing the drilling process. Log job status on computer using the PCB software (ProCim) and complete Non-Conforming Material Report (NCMR) form for all products that are rejected from drilling and/or fabrication process before moving to the next process. Assist department in achieving zero scrap per month. Perform daily maintenance on machines and house-keeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment. Inform Drilling Manager, Production Manager, etc. of any potential problems. Ability to stand/walk 8 + hours per day. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS - KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS- EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma preferred. 2-6 years' experience in drilling for PCB Manufacturing Company. Previous experience and knowledge preferred. Ability to read and understand technical work instructions. Ability to stand /walk throughout the day and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds maximum. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to follow procedures and maintain quality of products at all time. Good computer skills and ability to learn new skills and tasks as required. Ability to perform at the highest level in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional multi-tasking, organizational skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels of management Self-motivator and a sense of ownership and urgency.
