What You'll Do:

Skills You'll Need:

Heavy Equipment Operator:
The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy equipment such as skidsteers, excavators, and loaders. This full-time position has competitive compensation and benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment
Follow project plans and specifications
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
Complete daily logs and reports
Communicate with team members and supervisors effectively
Follow all operating procedures and guidelines
Any additional tasks or projects assigned by their supervisor
Requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Experience with various types of heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders
Excellent hand-eye coordination and depth perception
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
Willingness to work in all weather conditions
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
Strong work ethic and dedication to completing tasks efficiently
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Concrete Paver Operator - Beaumont, TX Southland Holdings is seeking highly motivated Concrete Paver Operators to join our construction team in Beaumont, TX. Responsibilities:
Operate concrete paving and spreading equipment to distribute and level concrete according to project specifications.
Control machinery to ensure proper depth, width, and finish of concrete surfaces.
Work in coordination with other team members, including concrete finishers, to ensure quality and efficiency.
Follow safety procedures and identify potential hazards while operating equipment on construction sites.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience operating concrete placing/spreading equipment or similar heavy machinery. Experience with Gomaco 2400, 2600, and 2800 preferred.
Background in heavy civil construction, particularly in concrete placement and finishing.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to company policies.
