The AEOI is responsible for loading, unloading, and delivering various patient and hospital related items such as food, clean and dirty laundry, personal care items, patient property, postal packages, warehouse supplies, State property and equipment; and other correlated items; transporting patients throughout the secured areas of the hospital utilizing a 24-passenger bus; operating a refuse packer (trash truck) for the purpose of collecting refuse and recycling items throughout the hospital and delivering to the local landfill and recycling center; conducting office moves, set-ups/take-downs for hospital special events, and other hospitals needs as required; completes daily pre-trip inspections and maintains applicable logs; and operating, servicing, fueling, washing, and vacuuming passenger vehicles, light trucks, box trucks, refrigerated food trucks, refuse packer, transportation bus, and other automotive equipment.

About this Role
FiberTel is looking for a Heavy EquipmentOperator for our Reno, NV location.
The Heavy EquipmentOperator will be responsible for the safe transportation of materials and equipment. He/she will load and unload equipment and material as needed. What You'll Do
Position Responsibilities:

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time hourly position, expected to work at least 40 hours per week. The outside work environment will vary throughout the day including changes in terrain, traffic, urban settings, and/or rural settings. Patton State Hospital, Human Resources Department, is accepting applications for at least one (1) Limited Term, Full-Time Automotive EquipmentOperator II (AEOII) position in the Motor Pool department. This position is under the direct supervision of the Automotive Pool Manager I. A Training and Development assignment may also be considered.
The AEOII is a lead position, which duties include:
* Directing the AEOI's and Truck Drivers in the efficient and timely completion of essential daily assignments such as the pick-up and delivery of food, laundry, warehouse supplies, patient packages, and State property and equipment; bus transportations; set-ups and take-downs for special events and other hospital related services; reviewing and ensuring the proper completion of the Driver's daily pre-trip inspections and timely reporting of any mechanical problems detected; monitoring the proper maintenance of all delivery trucks (box trucks) by ensuring Drivers are maintaining appropriate fuel levels and cleanliness.
* Providing strong administrative support to the Motor Pool Managers by processing and scheduling State vehicle requests submitted for State business; managing employee's training compliance and other related personnel requirements for AEOI's and Truck Drivers by scheduling staff accordingly and submitting reports to department management; and performs other duties as required.
* Fulfilling operational needs behind AEOI's and Truck Drivers when required.
* Responding promptly and professionally to telephone and e-mail inquiries pertaining to the Motor Pool Department.
