Summary

Roles & Responsibilities
* Daily Equipment Inspection
* Any safety or mechanical issues to be reported to supervisor immediately.
* Equipment inspection log to be turned in daily.
* Do not run equipment without performing the inspection.
* Fueling of Equipment
* Equipment is to be fueled at the end of each shift.
* Operation of equipment
* Equipment is to be operated in a safe and efficient manner.
* Operator shall always maintain control of the equipment.
* Operator shall not idle equipment when not in use. Turn it off.
* Site Observations and Safety Awareness
* The loader operatorââ â¢s role is key to the success of the operations. Some items the loader operator should be aware of are:
* Maintaining high quality feed material.
* Watch for any potential site or plant problems that are within your view.
* Be alert to site hazards involved with feeding from the load face of material.
* Productivity
* Seeks to produce material that will provide the most consistent, highest quality end products, under the direction of the leadman and pit supervisor.
* Seeks to operate the equipment in a safe and efficient manner
Skills and Qualifications
* Valid driverââ â¢s license is required.
* MSHA certification preferred
* 1-2 years previous quarry/mining experience preferred
* 2 or more years of experience on plan maintenance/preventive maintenance.
* Experience leading a team
* Plant/Preventative maintenance safety preferred

Responsibilities
Equipment operator on residential and commercial job sites.
Follow OSHA and Roto-Rooter safety procedures.
Work with a crew to complete excavation work.
Interact with customers as needed.
Maintain excavation equipment.
Work in confined spaces and open trenches.
Requirements
Construction experience (residential and commercial).
Load, unload and secure equipment on transport trailers according to guidelines.
Current CDL Class A license
Trenchless water, sewer & gas experience is a plus.
Work a flexible schedule that may include nights and weekends.
Complete jobs within specified timelines.

Qualifications:
Minium 5 years of experience effectivaly operating
Ability to read and interpret construction plan and specifications
Strong communication skills
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze project data

Duties:
