We are looking for an experienced Driller to add to our family in Kapolei, Hawaii! What You Will Work On
Being a Driller at Hawaii Drilling & Pump Service means you will operate as the working foreman and be responsible for the drilling and construction of test holes, water wells, or monitoring wells.
General operations include:
* Site preparation, mobilization, and setup of equipment.
* Drilling and reaming of borehole.
* Geophysical logging of borehole.
* Construction of wells, including the installation of casing, gravel, and cement.
* Development and testing of wells upon completion.
* Demobilization of equipment, site cleanup, and restoration.
* Assume responsibility and authority at the job site when the superintendent or tool pusher is not on site.
Core responsibilities.
* Perform all work in accordance with the drilling program furnished to him by his superintendent or project manager.
* See all workmanship and materials meet contract specifications, the highest quality, and the highest industry standards.
* Operate and properly maintain the drill rig and support equipment assigned to the driller. To perform preventive maintenance and repair of assigned equipment and keep accurate records of oil changes, repairs, etc.
* Implement and follow HDPS Drilling's Safety Program, including conducting weekly toolbox safety meetings.
* Supervise and train the helpers assigned to the driller. Recommend hiring and firing of helpers to the Drilling Superintendent. Train future drillers.
* Fill out and maintain daily work reports and timecards. Turn in to the superintendent or office daily.
* Maintain accurate technical records, including formation log, penetration log, alignment surveys, as-built sketches, etc. Turn in weekly with time.
* Report daily to the customer, field representative, or HDPS's superintendent as required.
Pay Range
$50-60/hour

What You Will Do
Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, graders, rock trucks) to perform mass excavation and site preparation

Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with the loading and unloading of cargo, and mail onto/from aircraft, ensuring proper weight distribution and secure stowage. Operateequipment such as conveyor belts and cargo loaders to facilitate these tasks.
Marshaling and guiding aircraft using hand signals and visual aids to guide aircraft during taxiing, parking, and maneuvering. The Ramp GSE Operator ensures the safe and accurate positioning of the aircraft and GSE on the ramp.
Operate various ground support equipment such as aircraft tugs, pushback tractors, and towing vehicles to move aircraft between areas.
Ensure efficient and careful handling of upload and offload of equipment.
Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment for both personnel and aircraft. Report any safety hazards or incidents promptly.
Maintain effective communication with other ramp agents, ground crew, and flight crews to ensure smooth aircraft movement and coordination.
Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the ramp area, ensuring it is free from debris, foreign object damage, and other hazards.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects, bend, and stand for extended periods.
Good hand-eye coordination and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow established procedures and protocols.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills to coordinate effectively with other ground personnel and flight crews.
