The ideal candidate will have experience in the oil and gas industry as a Well Tender / Lease Operator. Strong mechanical aptitude, solid work history, and driving record. The Lease Operator performs daily operational checks of assigned wells and production facilities. Working knowledge of oil and gas production operations is important.
The schedule is 7 days on / 7 days off. Work area includes Columbiana Ohio and New Castle PA and the surrounding area.
Housing and (meal) per diem provided during the 7-day hitch.
Ensures proper operation of production equipment including wells, compressors and/or sales meters for gas & oil production by monitoring and adjusting equipment.
Provides daily measurement of oil, gas & saltwater production.
Change charts (where applicable) and keep written/electronic records of production.
Notifies oil transporter and vacuum trucks to haul oil & saltwater as necessary.
Performs preventive maintenance & maintain written records (where applicable) on pumping units, SED pumps, compressors, engines, and glycol units. Maintains & monitors chemical program. Promptly corrects deficiencies (replace non-working gauges, vales, etc.) as needed.
Identifies & researches warning signals, adjust controls, & troubleshoots & repairs equipment.
Performs daily inspection of all pressure vessels, storage tanks, pumps, flow lines, and containment structures for mechanical integrity.
Maintains well locations and surrounding grounds by cutting overgrowth & painting equipment to ensure accessibility, equipment performance & a safe & clean working environment.
Maintains a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules as outlined in the Safety Program & by reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions & acts to Management.
Gauge production on assigned wells and report gauge readings, downtime and other pertinent well information to district office.
Perform lease maintenance such as minor surface pump and production equipment repairs and adjustments; trim weeds, clean up trash, etc.; grease pumping units, service lease equipment, etc. -Note problems and/or recommend course of actions to supervisor in order to decrease costs and increase production.
Assist in witnessing meter calibrations; monitor rates and pressures on injection and disposal wells; make necessary adjustments; monitor chemical use; and test safety systems daily to maximize daily production. Must be able to utilize software that customer uses.
Perform work in a manner that ensures the secure and environmentally safe operation of all wells and leases for which the pumper is responsible.
Must be self-motivated, strong ethics, ability to work with minimum supervision, have reliable attendance and demonstrate flexible cooperative behavior in the workplace
Gauge production and test wells as required
Ensure proper reporting of production and downtime
Maintain production rate throughout the system
Daily production data entry
Optimize production from wells by adjusting Pump-Off-Controller setpoints, etc.
Diagnose well problems with a focus on ensuring production optimization
Ensure compliance with all Environmental, Health and Safety requirements
May perform minor equipment repair
May participate in leading safety meetings and reviews
Conduct business with the highest ethical standards; demonstrate decision-making skills that ensure the safety of all persons

Requirements
Responsible for operating, maintaining, and monitoring separators, dehydration equipment, compressors, meters, pumping equipment, well sites, and control devices to ensure optimum production.
Performs daily operational checks of assigned wells and production facilities in order to assure all equipment is operating and functioning properly.
Maintains reports detailing items such as production volumes, fluid production, chemicals used, monitoring well pressures, etc.
Makes minor necessary repairs on equipment to ensure minimal downtime while also considering company environment, safety, and health objectives.
Performs general site maintenance including site clean-up and minor facility repairs. Will be expected to perform site safety shutdowns as well as report any spills, complete daily Job Safety Analysis, Lock Out Tag Out as required.
Provide guidance and instruction to contract crews on well site.
Requirements:
High School Diploma,
3+ years' experience, current drivers' license with no restrictions, and strong work history.
Basic computer knowledge, self-starter with ability to work independently, troubleshooting and problem solving, and have a strong mechanical aptitude.
Physical Demands and/or Work Environment:
Exposure to sun, extreme temperatures, loud noise, wind, dust
Ability to lift up to 50lbs or more with assistance
Bending, stooping, standing for long periods of time

Maintains a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules as outlined in the Safety Program & by reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions & acts to Management.
Gauge production on assigned wells and report gauge readings, downtime and other pertinent well information to district office.
Perform lease maintenance such as minor surface pump and production equipment repairs and adjustments; trim weeds, clean up trash, etc.; grease pumping units, service lease equipment, etc. -Note problems and/or recommend course of actions to supervisor in order to decrease costs and increase production.
Assist in witnessing meter calibrations; monitor rates and pressures on injection and disposal wells; make necessary adjustments; monitor chemical use; and test safety systems daily to maximize daily production. Must be able to utilize software that customer uses.
Perform work in a manner that ensures the secure and environmentally safe operation of all wells and leases for which the pumper is responsible.
Must be self-motivated, strong ethics, ability to work with minimum supervision, have reliable attendance and demonstrate flexible cooperative behavior in the workplace

Requirements
Responsible for operating, maintaining, and monitoring separators, dehydration equipment, compressors, meters, pumping equipment, well sites, and control devices to ensure optimum production.
Performs daily operational checks of assigned wells and production facilities in order to assure all equipment is operating and functioning properly.
Maintains reports detailing items such as production volumes, fluid production, chemicals used, monitoring well pressures, etc.
Makes minor necessary repairs on equipment to ensure minimal downtime while also considering company environment, safety, and health objectives.
Performs general site maintenance including site clean-up and minor facility repairs. Will be expected to perform site safety shutdowns as well as report any spills, complete daily Job Safety Analysis, Lock Out Tag Out as required.
Provide guidance and instruction to contract crews on well site.
Requirements:
High School Diploma,
3+ years' experience, current drivers' license with no restrictions, and strong work history.
Basic computer knowledge, self-starter with ability to work independently, troubleshooting and problem solving, and have a strong mechanical aptitude.

Exposure to sun, extreme temperatures, loud noise, wind, dust
Ability to lift up to 50lbs or more with assistance
Bending, stooping, standing for long periods of time
