Position Purpose
Position description here. This position is responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient receiving, preserving, stocking, and picking parts in support of MRO, Aircraft Operations, Sales, Supply Chain and Engineering of items sent through Erickson's Warehouse. These functions include the use of the following equipment: parts-picker, forklift, pallet jack, trucks, trailers, foam machine, sealing machine, and ladders.
Position Levels
The Warehouse Associate levels I-III require varying degrees of experience, job knowledge and skill, which are generally acquired through specialized or on-the-job training. This is dependent upon the currently assigned work area. For levels 2 and 3, these positions require specialized knowledge of processes and procedures, as well as time on the job.
LEVEL 1 (149): Applies basic skills while developing some specialized skills in procedures, operations, techniques, tools, materials, and/or equipment appropriate to work area currently assigned to. Performs routine and/or repetitive tasks with limited decision making required. Generally works under close supervision, has limited experience, and work is performed from within specific limits of established procedures and/or defined instructions. Approaches tasks with a positive attitude and willingness to do the job and to accept constructive critique. Advancement to Level II is based on demonstrated proficiency in all duties and responsibilities in at least two areas of function in the Warehouse. Zero to three years' experience is common.
LEVEL 2 (23011): Applies skills and job knowledge in area of specialization, and may adapt procedures, operations, techniques, tools, materials, and/or equipment to meet the needs of area of specialization depending upon currently assigned work areas. Displays proficiency in at least 2-3 work areas. May work on non-routine tasks, may train other warehouse personnel, and displays proficiency in resolving issues and making working decisions within area of specialization or responsibility with minimal supervision. Must take initiative in non-production areas: filing, cleaning, crate maintenance, etc. Employees at this level receive only occasional instruction or assistance as new or unusual situations arise and have knowledge of applicable SOP's and/or work instructions. Advancement to Level III is based on demonstrated proficiency in all aspects of the job, and successful completion of responsibilities with minimum oversight, along with a positive attitude and willingness to do the job and to accept constructive critique. Four to seven years of experience is preferred.
LEVEL 3 (23012): Regularly works on tasks that are varied and complex. Applies full range of specialized skills and job knowledge. Frequently adapts procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and/or equipment to meet specialized needs. May train/mentor other warehouse personnel and performs broad and/or focused assignments under general supervision. Provides technical guidance and support to warehouse personnel. Acts as point person for various work areas; originality and ingenuity are often required to help. Employees at this level function with a high degree of autonomy and have a high degree of knowledge and expertise in various work areas, along with a positive attitude and willingness to do the job and to accept constructive critique. Employee must also have deep knowledge of process specifications, applicable SOP's, work instructions and ERP software. Seven or more years of increasingly responsible experience is typical for Level III.
Duties & Responsibilities
Perform picking of aircraft parts and supplies (FIFO) functions as assigned to support MRO, Aircraft Operations, Sales, and Supply Chain. This process requires computer work, labeling and packaging/boxing for transportation.
Perform receiving functions as assigned of aircraft parts and supplies to the Warehouse. Validate all parts received and process all necessary paperwork.
Perform preservation functions as assigned of aircraft parts, components, and supplies to prevent corrosion and/or damage for stocking: Labeling, packaging/boxing including sealing and foam machine for inventory identification and control.
Manufacture crates for storage and/or shipping to prevent damage.
Perform stocking functions as assigned of aircraft parts and supplies in warehouse locations.
Perform Cycle Count functions as assigned of parts accurately and in a timely manner.
Perform crate maintenance, when necessary.
Maintain all necessary paperwork for all the above processes.
Perform delivery and pick-up functions safely of aircraft parts and supplies to the various Erickson Facilities, coming to the warehouse for preservation, storage and/or shipping.
Ensure that the work areas are clean and free of Foreign Object Debris (FOD) and perform safety audits in assigned work areas.
Adhering to AS9100/AS9110 and ISO9001 standards.
Ensure all LMS training stays up to date.
Obtain Medical card (for driving company vehicles) and Airport Security badge, as assigned.
Support all customers.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience preferred in Warehousing Operations and Inventory Control
Experience preferred for operating vehicles and equipment: forklifts, parts pickers (up to 25' height), pallet jacks.
Valid Driver's license, with clean driving record.

Employees at this level are required to be fully trained and aware of all applicable Procedures and SOP's. Two plus years of aircraft maintenance or manufacturing experience may be required.
The Composite Technician 3 (617): Employees perform all level 1 and 2 duties as well as a Composite Technician III must have composite school training or six years of aviation composite experience. They must provide technical coaching assistance to other technicians. Six or more years of increasingly responsible aircraft maintenance or manufacturing experience may be required.

Position Purpose
This position performs maintenance and manufacturing tasks to aircraft, aircraft parts and components in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Erickson Air-Crane (EAC) requirements. Complies with all company policies and Standard Operating Procedures as a team player. Willing and able to work long hours and travel as required to meet company requirements. The Mechanic I (Level 1) is distinguished from the Mechanic II (Level 2) by the performance of the more routine tasks and duties assigned within the series. Employees at this level may have only limited aircraft maintenance and manufacturing experience and receive regular instruction or assistance in the performance of their assigned duties. One to three years of aircraft maintenance and manufacturing experience is desirable. Advancement to the II level is based on demonstrated proficiency in all aircraft maintenance and manufacturing Duties & Responsibilities.
The Mechanic II (Level 2) is distinguished from the Mechanic I (Level 1) by the performance of the full range of Duties & Responsibilities. Employees at this level receive only occasional instruction or assistance as new or unusual situations arise and are fully aware of company procedures and SOP's. Advancement to the III level is based on demonstrated proficiency in all aspects of aircraft maintenance and manufacturing, conducting design reviews, and successful completion of project responsibilities with minimum oversight. Four to nine years of aircraft maintenance and manufacturing experience is required.
The Mechanic III (Level 3) is distinguished from the Mechanic II (Level 2) by the level of responsibility assumed and the complexity of duties assigned. Employees perform the most difficult and responsible types of duties including assuming project management responsibilities when assigned. Employees at this level are required to be fully trained and aware of all applicable procedures and SOP's. Additionally, they mentor mechanics and support their technical growth. An Airframe and/or Powerplant license is a preferred requirement for level III Mechanics. Ten or more years of increasingly responsible aircraft maintenance and manufacturing experience is required.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Perform disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repair, fabrication, manufacturing, maintenance, and assembly of aircraft and aircraft parts, components and wiring. Documenting work per company, customer and regulatory requirements.
* Install aircraft parts and components to aircraft at the fixed base of operations (FBO) and in the field environment.
* Read, interpret, and comply with Repair Station Quality Manual, Production Certificate Quality Manual, Standard Operation Procedures, Federal Aviation Regulations, Technical Manuals, Drawings, and Specifications.
* Document work per company, customer and regulatory requirements.
* Troubleshoot and correct aircraft part and component discrepancies during normal work and if assigned to the field to address Aircraft On Ground (AOG) situations.
* Use tools and equipment, and refer to manuals, drawings and specifications to perform aircraft maintenance and manufacturing
* Responsible for the care of precision measuring equipment, tools and test equipment and benches.
* Drive company vehicles or rental vehicles as directed.

This position performs basic cleaning, benching, sawing, masking, assembly, disassembly, part marking, touch up, and testing tasks for aircraft parts and components with defined instructions in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) or other regulatory requirements, customer, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Erickson requirements.
Duties & Responsibilities
Performs basic cleaning, benching, sawing, assembly, disassembly, and testing tasks for aircraft parts and components.
Ability to perform tasks using basic hand tools and measuring equipment.
Documents work per Company, customer, and regulatory requirements. Part marking per customer specifications.
Performs all other general duties in work area as defined by Lead.
Maintains an organized work area and good housekeeping practices.
Reads and complies with drawings, operation instructions, Production Certificate Quality Manual, Standard Operation Procedures, Federal Aviation Regulations, technical manuals, and specifications as applicable.
Travels as required to meet Company and customer requirements.
Performs administrative duties e.g., time entry, DAX, training classes, etc. as required by department.
Creates, revises, and uses department documents as required by the Company and department requirements.
Orders, receives, and returns parts in accordance with Company policies.
Actively participates in continuous process improvements.
Mentors, trains and coaches new employees when qualified as a mentor or trainer.
Achieves and maintains task qualifications for all work performed.
Works with hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals and products to perform required tasks.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalency.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to read and follow written instructions and specifications.
Ability to perform basic maintenance and manufacturing tasks per written instructions.
Technically skilled and has good mechanical aptitude. Must have good eye-to-hand coordination and exceptional dexterity of the hands and fingers.
Minimal communication is required both verbally and in written documentation.
1 year of aviation experience preferred. Any metalworking knowledge is desirable.
Ability to drive company vehicles or rental vehicles as directed.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally is desirable.
