Grow with us About this opportunity: We are hiring a Corporate Investigator to join Ericsson's Corporate and Government Investigations (CGI) group, supporting the team that handles investigations in North, Central and South America. CGI is responsible for investigating suspected breaches of Ericsson's Code of Business Ethics and is critical to ensuring the effectiveness of the Company's ethics and compliance program, defending the Company's commitment to integrity, and building trust with its stakeholders, including government enforcement authorities.
The role requires extensive investigative experience, strong cross-functional collaboration, pragmatic judgment and organizational awareness. The successful candidate will be flexible in a team environment: able to lead investigations and also support colleagues while working collaboratively. The position is located in Plano, TX or Washington, DC. The position is hybrid.
What you will do:
* Lead or support end-to-end investigations on a variety of topics, including allegations of potential fraud, corruption, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, conflicts of interest as well as other potential violations of Ericsson's Code of Business Ethics.
* Work collaboratively and, at times, cross functionally, to define scope, gather and analyze data and other evidence, conduct interviews, document findings, and recommend remediation.
* Comprehensively perform document review, utilising appropriate review technologies and approaches. Prioritise multiple tasks in a time sensitive environment and maintain momentum for multiple workstreams.
* Produce clear, concise written reports, interview summaries, analyses of evidence, and presentations, and present findings to stakeholders and governance bodies.
* Partner closely with key stakeholders to drive remediation and strengthen controls.
* Contribute to improving investigation policies, processes, and tools.
* Act with integrity, objectivity, fairness and confidentiality.
The skills you bring:
* Extensive experience leading complex internal investigations in multinational organizations and/or accountancy or consulting firms.
* Demonstrable working knowledge of investigative techniques, data analysis, and eDiscovery software (eg. Relativity), including AI tools.
* Fluent in English, with very strong written and verbal communication skills (Spanish language skills desirable).
* Dynamic energy, excellent analytical skills, pragmatic judgment, and the ability to translate detail into the big picture.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Managing and leading teams of internal and external resources to achieve successful outcomes while managing matters to budget.
Developing case strategies and budgets as well as active involvement in patent litigation matters, which typically will include the management of outside counsel, factual investigations, pretrial pleadings, discovery, motions practice and dispute resolution (whether by settlement, trial, or ADR).
Managing patent invalidation proceedings at the U.S. Patent Trial and Appeal Board and equivalent foreign agencies.
Collaborating with internal and external resources in preventative initiatives.

Ideal Candidate Will Have
Juris Doctorate degree from accredited law school
Active bar membership in CA or qualification to obtain admission in CA (which may be through in-house counsel admission)
Nine+ years of relevant experience as a patent litigator in private practice or as in-house litigation counsel
Broad knowledge of patent law and procedures for litigating patent cases before U.S. District Courts and the U.S. International Trade Commission
Experience managing teams handling patent litigation
Team player with capacity to lead cases independently and to serve as part of a team handling other cases

**Job Description**

Advanced Lead Engineer - Product Safety

The Safety Management Systems (SMS), Global Standardization team is responsible for providing guidance and expertise to the business regarding the four ICAO components of SMS. This role will be based within the Safety Assurance pillar and will work very closely with the Risk Management, Policy and Promotion teams.
Our primary responsibility is to support the entire business in its SMS maturity journey. As such, the successful candidate shall be required to build trust and relationships, learn and develop best practice, be open to feedback, plan and execute to our commitments.
This role required high-levels of autonomy but will be guided by more experienced team members and will be provided with training. The job requires the modification of existing procedures and practices to ensure that the end results meet regulation and provide the best practice to our internal customers.
Projects will be delivered in line with GE Aerospace operating model FLIGHT DECK using methods such as problem solving, action planning and bowler metric reporting.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
+ Responsible for understanding SMS theory, regulation and industry best practice - enabling the design, develop and implementation of SMS standard work methodologies and techniques.
+ Able to identify potential product safety hazards and strategies to mitigate risks that are present within the product design, production and overhaul, to an acceptable level. Utilizing human factors principles to drive design and process improvements in order to eliminate human error in the operation and maintenance of the product in the field
+ Requires specialized knowledge within the SMS discipline and the ability to influence the development of strategy for their area of responsibility, including interfacing resources and policies.
+ Interprets complex internal and external business challenges and recommends best practice to improve products, processes or services. Stays informed of industry trends that may inform work.
+ Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems in areas of operational, product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders. Solution focussed - able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations.
+ Able to use and analyze multiple internal and external data sources, to detect trends, tell the story and provide recommendations to reduce risk.
+ Will lead cross functional teams or and complex projects.
+ Shall communicate difficult concepts, influence others' options on particular topics and may guide others to consider a different point of view.
+ Travel will be required to go Gemba at our internal, Customer and supplier locations - approximately 15% of time.
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college
