Based within the Solution Area Cognitive Network Solutions (SA CNS), Strategic Competence Unit (SCU) is a highly qualified global service delivery team located in several countries. We are working at the groundbreaking of technology with many diverse customers around the world. We are experts in the field of Network Design and Optimization (NDO).
We are now looking for a new and key role in our team, driving the adoption of Cognitive Software products as part of the NDO processes and operations, supporting our customers in North America in the transformation journey.
What you will do:
• Technical Expertise: You will serve as the main technical point of contact for customers, addressing technical inquiries and technical challenges. You will be the Technical Authority in the area, both internally as well as towards the external customers.
• Adoption-driver: You will provide technical guidance, training, and support to ensure the successful adoption, implementation, and ongoing usage of the rApps (SW applications as defined by the O-RAN Alliance) by our customers. You will also drive customer satisfaction, retention, and growth. You will show the best benefit of our solutions to support customer's operational transformation.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: You will participate in cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, and support, to provide customer feedback, address technical issues, improvements follow up and deliver solutions.
What you will bring:
Senior expertise in RAN 4G and 5G technologies, with delivery experience in complex NDO services. Expert level knowledge of Ericsson RAN network features, algorithms and parameters. Expert in network performance analysis and optimization.
AI/ML Experienced level competence. ML Ops, Machine Learning Techniques, Machine Reasoning
Understanding of Cloud Native, Cloud Computing (providers, serverless, container orchestration (k8), creation and deployment of services)
Software Architecture and Design. Expertise in transforming software to modular / mServices / event-driven
DevOps & CICD. Understanding of pipelines and automation
Big Data. Handling of big data, big data flow, orchestration

JOB PURPOSE:
The Logistics Planning Team is responsible for developing analytics, forecasting tools, and validating business cases to manage the flow of finished goods through the Unilever North America distribution network. The team serves as the central coordination point for the intake of the signal from the Sales & Operational Planning process and translating the volumes into expected capacity needs for Transportation and Warehouse operational teams. Activities include coordinating network footprint changes focusing on logistics cost and protecting customer KPI's, projecting out network capacity constraints, developing analytical tools to predict the profiles for acquired brands, identifying cost savings opportunities, and completing cost estimates for innovations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Logistics Analyst, you will be responsible for leading capacity conversations and improvements for Ice Cream and the Frozen distribution network.
You will serve as a link between Supply Planning and Logistics, translating the constrained output from the Sales & Operations Planning process into expected volumes in transportation lanes and warehouse pallet and location capacity and case/layer/pallet.
You will be held to the delivery of cost savings, accuracy of immediate (1-30 days), short (1-3 months), medium (3-12 months), and long (1, 2, 3 years) term forecasting and project work.
You will also be a link to the Logistics Development team for Warehouse, Transportation, and Network Design emerging projects, that will require validation of forecasted volumes, rate assumptions, and footprinted flows to assume accurate savings numbers.
You will analyze data, drive to root cause for deviations, and implement continuous improvement activities that drive business improvements.
Lead advancements in Aera by working with internal and external teams/stakeholders; attend monthly governance calls
Subject matter expert in all aspects of capacity and Aera - ensuring continuous improvement in both areas and reporting out to senior-level members of organization
System Development & Troubleshooting: Assist in the design, development, and implementation of new IT systems and enhancements to existing systems within the logistics department.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
The ideal candidate must be a thought leader with a demonstrated ability to lead strategic programs and change management.
A bachelor's degree from an accredited university in required for consideration, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or Business Management. It is required that you have at least 2 years of experience in Logistics or Planning in a Consumer-Packaged Goods environment, preferably in multiple functions. You will need to be a results-oriented, innovative thinker with a focus on continuous improvement. Strong analytical aptitude with a validated ability to analyze/interpret data. Excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary to effectively interact with all levels of management. You will need the ability to work in a fast-paced business environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability by managing numerous priorities concurrently; organizational and time-management abilities are a must. Finally, you will need advanced technical skills with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and PowerBi. SAP APO and ECC experience are preferred; Kinaxis Rapid Response is preferred. Experience working with enterprise level logistics systems, such as a Transportation Management System, Yard Management Systems, or Warehouse Management System is required. Depending on your background and skills, there may be opportunities to support the indirect marketing procurement portfolios within this role, as well.

What You'll Need to Succeed
In this role, you will craft and optimize our Ice Cream Business Unit's digital commerce strategy to drive the business toward core topline and bottom-line KPIs. You will help optimize our retail media strategy and be tasked with delivering against KPIs such as market share and underlying sales growth. You will assist in campaign setup and structure, budget allocation, performance analysis, etc.

Role Overview

JOB PURPOSE
As Associate Procurement Director for dairy, sugars and starches North America, you will be responsible for building and implementing the strategy catered for the new Ice Cream company. You will also be representing the portfolio both to internal and external stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Development and lead the implementation of the portfolio procurement strategy.
Develop strong relationship with suppliers and analyze their capabilities to develop long term supplier strategies.
Lead frequent negotiations, delivering of savings and cash targets via excellent market understanding, strategy implementations and negotiation skills
Create a savings pipeline for the portfolio and align on execution with relevant teams
Implement contracts and ensuring high service levels to sourcing units across North America.
Ensure compliance of RSP, Contracting, Quality and service in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Initiate portfolio initiatives (e.g., ASA/AMA, Resilience, market development, etc) to create more leverage, ensuring strong connection with the market and MET's.
Support innovation projects through strong collaboration with R&D-team, providing market intelligence, supplier capabilities and capacity
Work closely with the finance community to support the business with accurate price forecasting, including market price trends and future market trends to enable proper budgeting and price forecasting
Continuously seeking for new opportunities and always open for improvement
Work closely with the CRM team to make sure insights from local players are taken into account when executing the cover strategy
Lead and develop talent through 1-2 direct reports

Pay: The pay range for this position is $141,680 to $212,520. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
