DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE CLASS Under direct supervision, an employee in this class performs entry-level professional social work for individuals and families. Work differs from that of a Caseworker Trainee in that a position in this class requires proficiency in both the Spanish and English languages. Trainees receive continuous on-the-job training while performing duties of a limited professional nature. TYPICAL WORK ACTIVITIES
* Attends on-the-job or special training sessions and participates in conferences and regular staff meetings;
* Studies and reviews literature and other materials related to casework to systematically acquire essential knowledge of the profession;
* Reviews existing case records for available information for use in formulating a plan of service;
* Studies the background and need for care of children referred, securing information from the child, the family, relatives, schools churches, family courts and the agencies;
* Periodically reviews cases for possible revision of service plan; may make home visits to monitor the implementation and the effectiveness of services provided;
* Helps to establish and maintain contact with individuals, families and organizations to assess needed services and to determine resources available;
* Assists in planning, with parents and relatives, for the care of children and reestablishment of the home;
* Identifies the need for services through interviews with clients and makes referrals where appropriate;
* Assists in assessing the need for foster care, performs home studies for adoption, foster care or day care homes;
* Provides counseling to motivate the individual or family to increase its own capacity, potential and confidence in its ability to meet stated goals;
* Initiates court petitions as appropriate to case assessment.

Job Title: Coach/Bus Operator Apprentice Status: Represented - ATU 998 FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Department: Transportation Wage: $25.74 per hour Milwaukee County Transit System is seeking to hire Apprentices for the Coach/Bus Operator position. This is a State approved, one-year registered apprenticeship program, where you will receive classroom and hands-on training from experienced mentors. During the training period, Apprentices will obtain their CDL and learn all aspects of safely operating a passenger bus all while providing an essential service to the communities of Milwaukee County.
As an Apprentice, you will learn to drive in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner while adhering to a pre-determined route and schedule. Apprentices will exhibit excellent customer services skills and allow passengers to board, travel and alight at scheduled stops. In addition to intensive training, Apprentices will also meet with a mentor who will provide additional guidance to ensure the success of the Apprentice. Upon successful completion of the program, Apprentices will receive a Coach/Bus Operator Journey worker's card issued by the State of Wisconsin.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Safely operate transit bus in strict compliance with Milwaukee County Transit System policies, guidelines, and procedures, as well as follow all Wisconsin and Federal traffic laws and regulations.
Collect fares according to existing fare structure, inspect bus passes and issue valid transfers in a professional, courteous manner.
Operate the radio, farebox and other systems within the bus in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Provide public timetables and accurate information to customers.
Call street locations, transfer points, major intersections, and other requested stops in compliance with ADA guidelines and Company policy.
Provide accessibility for disabled passengers to board and alight by properly operating all ramps and lifts and safely securing passengers in compliance with ADA guidelines and Company policy.
Demonstrate excellent customer service skills when interacting with all passengers.
Perform vehicle inspections before, during and after scheduled work assignments. This includes internal and external areas of the bus, reporting all defects on proper forms.
Monitor Special Bulletins and detours daily and make appropriate adjustments as needed.
Follow Company policy for handling lost articles including a visual inspection of the bus at the end of the line and at pull-in.
Complete accident and incident reports accurately and legibly, as necessary.
Complete fare box, passenger, and bus maintenance defect reports, as necessary.
Frequently meet with mentor to discuss the position, and respective challenges and successes.
Conduct self in an appropriate manner as a representative of Milwaukee County Transit System.
Perform other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Proof of employment eligibility/authorization to work in the U.S.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be able to work any hour of the day, any day of the week.
Must have a valid Class D Wisconsin driver's license (non-probationary) for at least one (1) year prior to the date of application.

Duties Description ยทConduct audits and examinations of taxpayer's books and records to determine compliance with the various articles of the NYS Tax Law;
* Develop and maintain working knowledge of the Tax Law, Criminal Tax and Penal Law as well as Department and Criminal Investigations Division (CID) procedures and policies, including the Code of Conduct, Ethics practices and security and confidentiality rules;
* Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with supervisors and other Department staff, taxpayers and/or their representatives, and prosecutor offices;
* Develop and maintain skills in computer technology including operation of laptop computers, PCs, and various software and job-related applications;
* Travel frequently, including both local and overnight within and outside New York State and to locations not accessible by public transportation; and be able to perform field works in non-business hours if necessary;
* Carry computer equipment and case materials to various field audit sites, training classes, BCMS conferences, etc.
* Prepare cases for prosecution and assist prosecuting authority;
* Represent CID and advocate disputed cases at BCMS conferences and Small Claims
* Hearings; may participate at hearings as a witness for the Department to assist attorneys from the Department's Office of Counsel in the resolution of disagreed cases; testify in Grand Jury and Trial in criminal courts.
Conduct interviews of witnesses, taxpayers, or subjects under investigation with an investigative team;
* Perform various special assignments and miscellaneous tasks as requested; and
* Adhere to the Department's time and attendance rules and regulations.
Minimum Qualifications The ability to fill this position is subject to DOB guidelines for processing personnel transactions. Note: a budget waiver is not
required to fill positions via transfer to lateral or downward level positions within the same department or to change line items
within the same funding source; or to replace employees who have been terminated during their probationary periods. The
selected candidate must be eligible for appointment in accordance with the provisions of the Civil Service Law, Rules, and

5. As field auditor with a federal, state, or municipal agency, with the responsibility for performing comprehensive field audits
to determine the compliance of individuals or businesses with the taxing jurisdictions laws, rules, and regulations.
6. As an accountant/auditor principally engaged in the analysis and/or interpretation of tax law.
Additional Comments Having a valid NYS license may be a condition of employment in this title, based on location.

About the Team:
The People Inc. studio team supports all of the creative visual teams within the company - they manage all studio and kitchen spaces across the New York Photo and Video studios, including two equipment rooms complete with audio recording, still photography, and video equipment. It is a small and versatile team with backgrounds in photo and video productions, and they combine technical expertise with creative vision to manage the complexity of various bookings, including shoots with staff photographers as well as assisting other teams and brands.
About the Role:
The Photo/Video Studios Intern will be exposed to a wide range of productions, including video shoots and photo sessions. Our studio team serves as the bridge between People Inc's brands and the production crews, giving the intern the opportunity to observe and participate in the entire lifecycle of a shoot. The intern will also learn directly from our in-house photographer in his day to day work, including still life, food, beauty, and on-location/brand-activation shoots.
During the internship, the intern will gain hands-on experience in how sets are built, lit, and managed while getting to know the creative staff that brings each production to life. The intern will take part in organizing equipment rentals, creating studio reservations, digiteching on sets, and making photo selects. This internship will offer students a well rounded and immersive learning experience, ensuring they leave as production-ready young professionals with real world exposure to a wide variety of productions and situations.
Internship Responsibilities will Include:
Learn about all aspects of studio management with daily on set experience
Deep dive into professional Photo and Video Equipment, including fulfilling equipment orders and logging returned gear
Build and style photo sets, choose props and help with lighting
Create and manage studio bookings
Shadow and assist on video and photo sets on a weekly basis
About You:
Candidates for this role should have:
Pursuing a degree in visual arts, specifically photography, video or both, is preferred

TYPE OF WORK:
Perform a wide variety of equipment operations, constructing natural gas facilities, repair and maintenance of gas transmission, distribution, service, and fuel lines. Assists Gas Technicians in performing a normal range of servicing, maintenance, and repair of somewhat limited variety of residential, commercial, and small industrial gas consuming devices. Subject to emergency calls.
Work from orders, directions, complaints, or as directed. Operate vehicles, construction equipment, compressor, various air tools, various precision measuring, testing equipment and instruments, various portable power tools, concrete saw, hand tools, and special purpose tools and equipment. Use various manufacturer s instructions, handbooks, and other available data.
Lay and construct a variety of underground gas distribution lines, service lines, and fuel lines. Much of this work will be done by hand digging with a shovel. Install a variety of valves, regulators, and controls, and install meters and allied devices. Tap gas lines, repair leaks, and diagnose less complex problems. Assist Gas Technician in connecting and disconnecting gas consuming appliances and inspecting for safe installation, operation and proper piping, done by others as assigned. Reports to Gas Supervisor, works under Lead Gas Technician and Gas Technicians.
Detect and report to proper supervision any unusual condition, difficulties, malfunctions or other matters. Properly protect work areas and obey all Federal and Borough safety rules and regulations. Ensure proper maintenance of trucks, tools, equipment, and work materials, and maintain good, clean working order.
Perform other related duties as assigned or directed.
This position is designated as a safety-sensitive position.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Physical condition will permit activities including, but not limited to lifting 50 lbs., stooping, driving and working under severely adverse conditions and temperatures. Experience with a backhoe is preferable. Establish and maintain good working relationships with those contacted in the course of work. Should have two or more years experience in the plumbing, heating, underground utility construction and or natural gas field. Subject to random drug and alcohol testing.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must be willing to take training to develop knowledge and skills regarding equipment operation and gas industry.
