Position is responsible for the coordination of Montgomery County Sheriff vehicle fleet. As Fleet Maintenance Coordinator, employee responsibilities include the management and operations of the Sheriff's office vehicle fleet. Employee will work with contracted vendors to schedule routine maintenance and repairs as needed. This employee will coordinate fleet needs with the various divisions and assist with policy associated with fleet utilization. This position is Monday thru Friday. CDL or the ability to obtain CDL within 1 year of hire. General knowledge of vehicle maintenance. Ability to pass a pre-employment background and drug screening. Must have valid driver's license & clean driving history. Position covered by a collective bargaining agreement. Facilitates maintenance and repairs of Sheriff Office vehicles to include approx. 60 vehicles consisting of SUV's, transit vans, trucks and commercial passenger buses. The Utility supplies potable water to one wholesale customer: the Caledonia Water Utility, which in turn delivers Racine water to the Village of Wind Point.
