Main Duties & Responsibilities
Collaborates with the Director of Credentialing with developing and implementing policies and protocols necessary to verify and ensure that Erie licensed independent practitioners and other licensed and certified clinical staff are processed in accordance with Erie and industry practice standards and ensures successful results on external surveys or audits of regulatory practices.
Supervises, trains and coaches Credentialing Specialists, new and current, to ensure performance outcomes for department's goals.
Directs and oversees all aspects of credentialing processes to ensure compliance with all standards, bylaws, state and federal requirements, accreditation standards (includes but not limited to National Committee for Quality Assurance (“NCQA”), Health Resources Services, Administration (“HRSA”) and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (“CMS”)), payer plans and enrollments, immigration support, professional liability coverage and protections, and Human Resources.
Manages all disclosures of claims history, adverse and disciplinary actions with Director of Credentialing, Chief Clinical Officer, and Compliance Officer. Participates with submission of regulatory reporting of disclosures to hospitals, payer plans, and to State and federal agencies.
Maintains knowledge of current and changing regulatory requirements and assists with necessary policy revisions, communication of changes to credentialing specialists, HR and provider leadership, and other Erie employees and business partners.
Education
Required:
High School diploma or equivalent required
Current NAMSS Certification as Certified Professional Medical Services Management (“CPMSM”) or Certified Professional Credentialing Specialist (“CPCS”).
Preferred:
Undergraduate or graduate degree in healthcare or business management a plus.

Experience:

PCH Fellow Physician

Fellow Physician Perinatal and Child Health (PCH) Physicians obligations shall include (but not be limited to) the performance of the following responsibilities: PHYSICIAN shall work full-time in the PCH Fellowship Program of PCC in the performance of the duties and responsibilities as outlined below. PHYSICIANs employment status will be calculated on the average number of 4-hour sessions worked per week agreed to and documented by PHYSICIAN and the Clinic Medical Director. This will be based on an average of eight (8) 4-hour sessions worked per week for a full-time physician.
B. SPECIFIC STATEMENT OF DUTIES
1. PCH Call
■ Participate equally as scheduled; responsible for finding coverage when needed
■ Stay in touch, aware of entire service at all times; collaborate with PCH attending
■ Do pre-op assignments (hx, diagnosis, attending preferences, etc.)

■ Fellows must complete the designated number of procedures (surgical, ultrasound, etc) as determined by the fellowship directors.

■ Fellows must have evaluations completed on them (40 clinical evaluations and 20 surgical evaluations total) and have evaluations completed on PCH faculty (40 attending evaluations total) on a quarterly basis throughout their fellow year.

* The number of sessions per week may be modified based upon clinic need, supervision commitments, etc. Modifications are approved by Director of Behavioral Health.
* Provide consultation and academic support to residents and attending physicians in the areas of behavioral medicine.

The Dietician optimizes the nutritional status of PACE participants through comprehensive nutrition assessment, monitoring, and communicating concerns and recommendations to the PACE Interdisciplinary Team. The Registered Dietician works closely with the catering vendor to ensure alignment with nutritional guidelines and participant-specific needs.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
* Conducts an initial nutritional assessment and scheduled and as-needed reassessment for all PACE participants.
* May participate in completion of Determination of Need (DON) document as part of PACE enrollment eligibility assessment.

The Recovery Nurse Care Manager (RN) supports this clinic by increasing patients' self-management skills, reducing patient barriers to participation in CDC programs, providing administrative support, as well as supporting patient referrals to higher levels of care.
* The Recovery Nurse Care Manager (RN) shows dedication to treating substance use disorder in an interdisciplinary, outpatient setting. Provides therapeutic support to patients in clinic, in groups, and over the phone. Advocates for patients to insurance payors, inpatient and outpatient treatment facilities, and social service agencies.
* The Recovery Nurse Care Manager (RN) provides consultation and academic support to residents and attending physicians within the ARC, Pregnant and Postpartum Women (PPW) and Hepatitis C Program in the areas of bio psycho social care coordination that may affect overall health outcomes including social determinants of health, substance use and mental health concerns. Closely collaborates with interdisciplinary team to provide coordinated care for all Chemical Dependency Center patients.

* Assess patients' and/or families' bio-psycho-social situations that include: development issues, family dynamics and stressors, and DSM V diagnoses.
