The full-time Human Resources Manager (HRM) is able to help others at Erie House deliver quality services to the communities we serve. The successful HRM will have the skills, sensitivity, and personal confidence to tap into the power that each member of the team brings to this mission. POSITION SUMMARY
The Human Resources Manager will champion and manage the day-to-day functions of the Human Resources (HR) Department, with a focus on leading the organizational workplace to meet goals and outcomes based on talent acquisition, engagement, and development.
POSITION SUMMARY
Supervisory
Supervision of the Human Resources Generalists, maintaining regular departmental and 1:1 meeting.
Guide and facilitate the HR Department to be a supportive administrator and thought partner to all levels of the organization.
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and modern technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
Delegate projects and ad hoc responsibilities to direct reports as necessary.
Report to Sr. Director of Organizational Experience analysis, recommendations, and solutions.
The ability to independently organize work schedules that are conducive to meeting with leadership, including those in Executive level, Managerial level and Staff to conduct thorough investigations in exploration and official HR related meetings.

Human Resources
Compliance
Identify, track and oversee all HR compliance related requirements including, but not limited to FMLA, ADA, Harassment training, Title VII, ERISA.
Manage ongoing internal self-audit processes to ensure adherence to compliance standards for grant and regulatory bodies.
Stays knowledgeable of all legal and regulatory bodies for internal and external standards.
Edit and update all job positions/descriptions, including conducting periodic audits to ensure compliance under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Oversee reporting of all unemployment filings and attend unemployment hearings.
People & Culture
Champion employee recognition initiatives including, but not limited to the annual holiday party, all staff anniversary celebrations, , staff appreciation weeks, and virtual recognitions celebrations.
Utilize the HRIS to connect socially with the employee population, and championing employee resource and interest groups.
Analyze and make recommendations to encourage positive employee relations and increased productivity.
Addresses escalated employee relations issues with support of the Sr. Director of Organizational Experience; further escalating matters as needed.
Supports the Senior Director of Organizational Excellence with implementing policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organization's human resource compliance and strategy needs.
Performance Management
Manage the performance review processes of the agency, including 30,60,90-day probationary reviews, six-month goal reviews, and the annual review process.
Handles discipline and termination of all positions in accordance with company policy and direction of the Sr. Director of Organizational Experience and or the Executive Director.
Talent Management
Identifies staffing and recruiting needs; develops and executes best practices for hiring and talent management within a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging lens.
Manages recruitment efforts agency wide, ensuring the entire employee life cycle is a seamless and positive experience for all candidates.
Survey exit interviews in collaboration with the Sr. Director of Organizational Experience to identify areas of constructive improvement and advancement of the employee experience.
Training and Development
Identify under-performance issues and recommend learning and development opportunities to the Sr. Director of Organizational Experience and agency Directors to retain and develop talent.
Leads in development of Management Training and building of resources

Provides ongoing support for the Erie Neighborhood House benefit program.
Oversees all leaves of absences carried out by HR Generalist including but not limited to Short- and Long-Term Disability, FMLA, Unpaid Leaves of Absences and Temporary Lay-offs or Furloughs in conjunction with the Sr Director of Organizational Experience and/or Executive Director.
Coordinates Worker's Compensation and FMLA returns to work by ensuring fitness for duty standards are met alongside HR Generalist.
Manage all Worker's Compensation reports, including making recommendations to Facilities and Operations to minimize future risk in conjunction with the Sr. Director of Organizational Experience.
Manage all Reasonable Accommodation requests in conjunction with the Sr. Director of Organizational Experience.
Qualifications
This position requires a well-rounded Human Resources professional that demonstrates the following:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Social Work or related field required or relevant experience.
A minimum of three years of human resource management experience preferred.
SHRM or HRCI certified highly desired.
Must be able to navigate all HR functions including recruitment, benefit administration, personnel management, payroll, and performance management.
Union Relations highly preferred
Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

The Data & Outcomes Administrator plays a critical role in measuring and communicating Erie House's impact through data. This position is responsible for managing the organization's Salesforce platform, leveraging Exponent Case Management (ECM) to optimize data tracking, ensure accuracy, and report program effectiveness.
The Data + Outcomes Administrator works in collaboration with organizational leadership to determine what data is necessary to measure outcomes critical to organization's success and quality assurance, and helps determine how that data should be reviewed, analyzed, and acted upon on a regular basis.
The ideal candidate has experience in program evaluation, is proficient in Salesforce, and brings a strategic mindset to data collection and analysis. This role offers an opportunity to enhance Erie House's ability to measure, understand, and improve its programs with a focus on long-term growth, sustainability, and program refinement.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Culture & Capacity
Engage with staff members throughout the organization to understand their evaluation and data needs.
Support staff as they work to input and utilize participant data and outcomes; ensure complete and accurate data entry via regular staff training and maintenance procedures
Design, modify, and oversee the administration of data collection instruments, such as surveys and questionnaires
Maintain user manuals and training documentation to ensure staff has the knowledge to complete data entry duties
Continually review the structure of the database to ensure it serves the purpose intended to capture and report data.
Conduct bi-weekly audits of the quality and timeliness of data entered by program staff and provide feedback to Program Directors and SDP.
Analysis & Reporting
Analyze evaluation results, identify trends, and recommend improvements to strengthen data reliability and validity.
Develop systems to track deliverables; identify system deficiencies and recommend solutions to improve the program quality.
Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports summarizing organizational data and impact metrics.
Partner with the development team to produce compelling impact reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Report monthly at Program Directors meetings regarding the data collection process and quality of outcomes.
Provide written reports and meet monthly with SDP to review program reports and evaluate the need for new types of data entry or report formats.
Collaborate with the Chicago Benchmarking Collaborative, a network of Salesforce user organizations that share outcome data and convene regularly to identify opportunities for program enhancement and strategic improvements.
Systems Management
Manage organization's evaluation activities across multiple platforms and settings, while simultaneously promoting conformity and consistency among all collected data and existing survey instruments.
Serve as the primary manager of databases including but not limited to Salesforce; increase data system usage among program staff and leadership.
Support system enhancement (and migration to new platforms when necessary).

Qualifications
POSITION REQUIREMENTS

School-Age Educator, who under the supervision of the School Age Site Director is responsible for implementing program and providing direct service to children in a comprehensive School Age Program. The School-Age Educator will work 5 hours a day during school days and 8 hours a day (full time) during summer/school vacation/holidays, contingent upon funding.
Position Responsibilities:
Provides an overall environment that is reflective of our multi-ethnic population, conducive to enjoyment, relaxation and socialization. Has well defined interest areas, and promotes recognition, acceptance and positive interactions among children and among children and staff.
Works with the Site Director in development, planning and implementation of the School Age Program. Actively participates with children ages 5-12 years old.
Participates in bi-weekly curriculum planning meetings and weekly staffing in order to implement the individualized recommendations for each child into daily programming. Implements a variety of creative, challenging, and interesting choices within the interest areas.
With the assistance of the Site Director, observes and documents the individual needs of each child and completes a biannual evaluation (SAYO).
Encourages children in developing a sense of responsibility and respect for their own, others, and the program property by modeling these behaviors appropriately.
Maintains necessary records, including: school sign out sheets, attendance sheets, updating educational files, anecdotal notes, etc.
Attends weekly staff meetings, monthly supervision meetings, special workshops and training sessions, including D.H.S. sponsored workshops to increase professional knowledge.
Assures proper care of the program equipment and supplies, including cleaning up the area with the children's assistance, after activities.
Monitors overall health and safety of all the program children. This includes observing children as they pick them at the schools and reports any sign of illness, injury or child abuse/neglect to their Site Director.
Develops a positive relationship with parents, teachers, and children and is available for formal and informal conferences. Attends parent meetings/presentations, upon request. Assists in DHS's annual program self-evaluation.
Works with Site Director in maintaining National Accreditation of the 5-12 year old program.
Participates in monthly all-agency meetings, annual agency retreat and Erie's Annual Meeting. Supports Erie's fundraising efforts/events. Attends mandated and other appropriate workshops/presentations that will promote professional development.
If working at the Center Site, communicate regularly with Child Care staff regarding logistics for space, food, and any other operations concerns.
If working at Diego Site, communicate regularly with school personnel and participate in school events.
Responsible for the program complying with Erie's, and all City and State licensing requirements and performance standards, including promoting the health and safety of all the children, following sanitation procedures and universal precautions, completing a bi-annual physical exam, complying with the Confidentiality and Child Abuse and Neglect Acts as a mandated reporter, as well as the American's with Disabilities Act and Erie's Inclusion Policy.
Serves as an “in-ratio” staff to ensure that DCFS ratio standards are upheld at all times.
Fills in at other school age sites as needed when given at least 2 hours' notice.

This position requires either 45 hours of college courses with at least 6 hours in child development or related field OR 30 hours of college courses with 9 hours in child development/related field plus at least 1560 clock hours verifiable of experience in working with children; Associate's Degree preferred. POSITION SUMMARY:

Position Responsibilities:
Follow specific and timely course of action to address any disabilities evaluation or mental health referrals needed based on screening results or other information.
Communicate the importance of early intervention and disabilities and mental health services to teachers and families.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Direct Legal Services and Support
Provide expert consultation, supervision of legal screenings, and representation to clients and potential clients including case preparation and follow-up;

Case Management
Handle a caseload before USCIS, EOIR, the BIA, and other government agencies consisting primarily of removal defense for detained and non-detained clients, as well as asylum, petitions for family relatives, U-visas, VAWA, TPS, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), and naturalization
Provide case management for immigration matters, including but not limited to preparing applications, maintaining client files and case records, drafting cover letters, client affidavits, and legal memoranda, providing translation and interpretation, reviewing case files, and representing clients at interviews and hearings;
Ensure data is accurately entered and updated in case management system as required by internal policies and grant requirements;
Make appropriate referrals as necessary for immigration legal services beyond the scope of the program;
Attend and participate in required educational programs and staff meetings;
Follow up on pending case work and maintain communication with clients via phone, email, or mail regarding missing documentation necessary for submission of application.
Administrative Support
Represent department at meetings, conferences, and/or legislative visits when necessary;

Summary: This person may or may not have Spanish speaking clients, it will be a mix.Carries a caseload of clients and provides them with treatment services.
Duties Case Management
Completes all mental health assessments, treatment plans, progress reports, and discharge summaries for all clients as required by each contract.
Schedules, conducts all necessary staffing- including but not limited to intakes, pre-court, monthly progress, emergency, inter-agency, and termination.
Maintains appropriate case records, written reports, and ensures all documentation has met deadlines on a timely basis.
Maintains clients confidentiality in accordance to Illinois Law and YSBIV policies and procedures.
Develops therapeutic strategy with Treatment Coordinator.
Conducts individual, group, and family therapy where applicable, as designated by the treatment plan.
Provides in-home support and assistance to families when applicable.
Provide linkage with individuals and families to other community resources when appropriate.
Advocate for the client/their families in regard to their right to treatment, appropriate treatment, and their right to dignity.
Management/Support Duties
Works with Treatment Coordinator and Director of Development in area of program development, public relations, speaking to professional groups and inter-agency teams and trainings.
Researches and keeps current on field developments, including: contributing to the field through writing articles, developing workshops, speaking to professional groups, and developing accountability and growth within the program and agency.
Responsible for program and statistical reports, as directed by the Treatment Coordinator.
Other duties as designated by the contract we serve.

Collaboration Treatment staff will work with clients to help them identify how to develop a network of peers, family, and other support sources.

Position Responsibilities:
Assist in matching volunteer tutors with adult learners based on their schedules
Work collaboratively with other site programs and staff.
Participate in professional development activities.
In coordination with volunteer tutors and staff compile and submit weekly attendance and syllabi in required databases.
In coordination with volunteer tutors and staff submit all intake, workforce, testing and student goals information in required databases.
Ensure volunteer tutors follow up with students with poor attendance on a weekly basis, assist with calls when necessary.

Qualifications
A Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field preferred, and a minimum of two years experience working with ESL students preferred.

Job Details Chicago, IL $17.50 - $18.25 HourlyDescription School-Age Educator, who under the supervision of the School Age Site Director is responsible for implementing program and providing direct service to children in a comprehensive School Age Program. The School-Age Educator will work 5 hours a day during school days and 8 hours a day (full time) during summer/school vacation/holidays, contingent upon funding. Position Responsibilities:
Provides an overall environment that is reflective of our multi-ethnic population, conducive to enjoyment, relaxation and socialization. Has well defined interest areas, and promotes recognition, acceptance and positive interactions among children and among children and staff.
Works with the Site Director in development, planning and implementation of the School Age Program. Actively participates with children ages 5-12 years old.
Participates in bi-weekly curriculum planning meetings and weekly staffing in order to implement the individualized recommendations for each child into daily programming. Implements a variety of creative, challenging, and interesting choices within the interest areas.
With the assistance of the Site Director, observes and documents the individual needs of each child and completes a biannual evaluation (SAYO).
Encourages children in developing a sense of responsibility and respect for their own, others, and the program property by modeling these behaviors appropriately.
Maintains necessary records, including: school sign out sheets, attendance sheets, updating educational files, anecdotal notes, etc.
Attends weekly staff meetings, monthly supervision meetings, special workshops and training sessions, including D.H.S. sponsored workshops to increase professional knowledge.
Assures proper care of the program equipment and supplies, including cleaning up the area with the children's assistance, after activities.
Monitors overall health and safety of all the program children. This includes observing children as they pick them at the schools and reports any sign of illness, injury or child abuse/neglect to their Site Director.
Develops a positive relationship with parents, teachers, and children and is available for formal and informal conferences. Attends parent meetings/presentations, upon request. Assists in DHS's annual program self-evaluation.
Works with Site Director in maintaining National Accreditation of the 5-12 year old program.
Participates in monthly all-agency meetings, annual agency retreat and Erie's Annual Meeting. Supports Erie's fundraising efforts/events. Attends mandated and other appropriate workshops/presentations that will promote professional development.
If working at the Center Site, communicate regularly with Child Care staff regarding logistics for space, food, and any other operations concerns.
If working at Diego Site, communicate regularly with school personnel and participate in school events.
Responsible for the program complying with Erie's, and all City and State licensing requirements and performance standards, including promoting the health and safety of all the children, following sanitation procedures and universal precautions, completing a bi-annual physical exam, complying with the Confidentiality and Child Abuse and Neglect Acts as a mandated reporter, as well as the American's with Disabilities Act and Erie's Inclusion Policy.
Serves as an “in-ratio” staff to ensure that DCFS ratio standards are upheld at all times.
Fills in at other school age sites as needed when given at least 2 hours' notice.
Other duties as assigned.
Schedule: 8 hours between 7:30am-5:30pm during summer and non-school days.

Qualifications Requirements
This position requires either 45 hours of college courses with at least 6 hours in child development or related field OR 30 hours of college courses with 9 hours in child development/related field plus at least 1560 clock hours verifiable of experience in working with children; Associate's Degree preferred. Bicultural/Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
