Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist in collecting nutritional data for initial and periodic assessments, including dietary preferences, allergies, and feeding needs. Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. At least two years of experience in a healthcare or nutrition setting (e.g., ADHC, skilled nursing, food service in elder care). Coursework in nutrition, food science, or health preferred. Licenses/Certificates: Valid California Food Handler Card or ServSafe Certification (per Cal. Health & Safety Code §113947). CPR and First Aid certification (preferred, may be required by employer). Skills and Competencies Basic understanding of therapeutic and modified diets (e.g., diabetic, low sodium, mechanical soft, puree).
