Pros of working at Ernst & Young

You can get exposure to big clients providing you with good experience to start a career.

Cons of working at Ernst & Young

Busy season is not healthy and expectations are high. The company is very disorganized and does a poor job onboarding new employees. You get thrown to the wolves right out of the gate and just have to hope someone helps you figure things out. You will frequently notice people don’t communicate well because they’re overworked.

Ernst & Young benefits

You can get wellness expenses reimbursed and a bonus for passing the cpa exam.

Pros of working at Ernst & Young

I love the experience in the industry. You will gain more accounting/auditing experience here than any other company in the world. It looks wonderful on the resume.

Cons of working at Ernst & Young

The hierarchy system makes it very hard to advance. I worked here for almost 10 years and still only a Senior Tax Consultant. Also I work on average over 50 hours a week with no overtime pay.
