The opportunity
The Digital Certificates Technology Service (DCTS) team within the Information Security organization at EY is responsible for the engineering, development, and sustainment of digital certificate‑based security solutions and encryption technologies that service the global firm.
The Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Engineering Lead drives Information Technologies (IT) security and productivity pillars by enabling secure connectivity for technical assets and devices within EY's global infrastructure through the creation and management of digital certificates. The role drives complex engineering design, development, and implementation activities to provide full certificate lifecycle management solutions aligned to multiple digital certificate use cases including Transport Layer Security (TLS), Code Signing, Authentication of User and Devices, and Email Encryption. The as deployed services rely on several technologies including, but not limited to, Microsoft's Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP) infrastructure, Hardware Security Modules (HSM), KeyFactor Command, Venafi Trust Protection Platform, Intune Certificate Connector and JAMF ADCS.
The Engineering Lead will oversee a team of engineering resources and manage all activities to be delivered by this team. The role serves as a bridge between the business, solution architecture design and IT operations stakeholders to ensure sustainment of the deployed services to meet all security, functional, and operational requirements and maintain the highest degree of service uptime as required by the business.
Your key responsibilities
Primary point of contact for the strategy and best practices in engineering, design execution and aligned management of all complex build activities for specific new or modifications to existing features and functions within the DCT services space.
Manage the successful technical delivery of projects and services for our customers by working directly with key business stakeholders, executives and project teams. Security engineers are the technical lead on initiatives and as such must drive the vision and alignment of the solution delivery.
Directs engineering and other technical activities supporting the scalability, supportability, production design, validation testing, release packaging, and release planning to maintain service stability and continuity.
Act as a product owner for deployed services to manage the vendor technologies and underlying infrastructure components including development and maintenance of product roadmaps aligned with each service offering.
Support the definition, design, and deployment of enterprise PKI systems to provide new or enhanced services for the business.
Maintain existing deployed service components including upgrades, maintenance, and issue resolution.
Manage the configuration of PKI systems and develop and execute test plans to ensure readiness for production deployment.
Create and maintain system documentation.
Ensure PKI systems align to the security policies, standards, and industry practice.
Manage direct reports, identifies and recommends hiring and aligns responsibilities and objectives to abilities as well as coach performance to achieve success.

To qualify for the role, you must have
Education
Bachelor's or master's degree in information assurance, computer science, information systems or related field of study.
Experience
12+ years of practical experience in the field of IT is required.
8+ years of direct Information Security experience.
6+ years of hands‑on PKI engineering experience.

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $128,100 to $239,600. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $153,800 to $272,300. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.

**The opportunity**
Our Business Tax Advisory practice gives you the opportunity to focus on US Tax - Information Reporting & Withholding. You will work in a group environment on challenging information reporting and withholding engagements across all financial services sectors. We offer the specialization in assisting clients with mission-critical operational tax issues and customer reporting issues. Specifically, our experienced practitioners work across tax and operations to deliver advice and support throughout the project lifecycle. You will work closely with colleagues to assist clients in understanding relevant tax rules and implementing changes to their operations, processes, and systems. The IRW team works on challenging information reporting and withholding engagements in the financial services, banking, insurance, and multinational sectors. These engagements will primarily focus on non-resident alien (NRA) withholding and reporting (IRC Sections 1441 to 1446), Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA), and domestic withholding and reporting matters. You can expect to work on engagements dealing with the FATCA, cost basis reporting, and various other global compliance and reporting initiatives, such as Common Reporting Standards (CRS). As you progress within EY and our IRW tax team, you will become a trusted business advisor to your clients. You will interface daily with superiors, peers and subordinates and clients on large and small IRW projects. **The opportunity**
The Strategic Procurement Advisor (SPA) creates and drives strategic relationships with client procurement teams, specifically the CPO, to positively position EY for competitive and sole source revenue generating opportunities and other account expansion activities. Review or perform, as needed, the annual testing for plans, including ADP/ACP, Top Heavy, 410(b), 415, 401(a)(4),deductibility, and 402(g)
Work with assigned coordinator(s) to provide compliant and accurate valuation reports, participant statements, trust accounting, annual testing and reporting as applicable
Review distribution paperwork and coordinate processing of distributions with asset holder
Review loan paperwork and coordinate processing of loans with asset holder
Review or prepares Form 5500 and coordinate with plan sponsor to help ensure timely filing
Assist auditors if a plan is subject to an audit
Assist IRS and DOL auditors, if the plan is subject to an IRS or DOL audit
Coordinate with all applicable parties, both internal and external, to ensure accurate conversion process for new clients (including but not limited to actuaries, financial advisors, attorneys)
As applicable, work with assistant to coordinate and oversee activities that will ensure timely and accurate completion of book of business
Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned
* Responsible for protecting, securing, and proper handling of all confidential data held by Ascensus to ensure against unauthorized access, improper transmission, and/or unapproved disclosure of information that could result in harm to Ascensus or our clients.

* Bachelors degree preferred
* 3-5 or more years ERISA experience in the retirement industry
* Experience in analysis of financial data required
* Experience in Relius software desirable, but not required
* Strong Word, Excel, and Outlook skills
* Strong written and oral communication skills
* Strong analytic mentality associated with problem solving skills
* Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage tasks to partner with business operations, including related ERISA compliance matters
* Ability to effectively plan and assign work to and oversee plan associates that are qualified to assist with plan modifications
The national average salary range for this role is $60,000 - $90,000 in base pay, exclusive of any bonuses and benefits. This base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salary offered will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, performance, and internal pay alignment. We do not anticipate that candidates hired will begin at the top of the range however, from time to time, it may occur on a case-by-case basis.
