Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in compliance with state, federal, and professional guidelines
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during imaging procedures
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot imaging equipment as needed
Coordinate daily imaging workflow and identify the need for procedure adjustments
Maintain accurate documentation and follow departmental protocols
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Experience:
1-3 years of experience as an X-Ray Technician
Knowledge of imaging equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Familiarity with healthcare technology, informatics, and emerging imaging advancements
Education and Certifications:
Graduate of an accredited Radiography program
Valid NJ State RT License and ARRT certification
Current BLS certification

FlexStaff is seeking a skilled and dedicated X-Ray Technician who is Bilingual in Spanisth for our client, a leading provider of orthopedic care.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures, including C-arm operation, with precise patient positioning for orthopedic imaging.
Ensure patient and staff radiation safety by following protocols and regulatory standards.
Maintain and clean all X-ray equipment, ensuring it is in excellent working order and meets regulatory compliance.
Adjust and set up radiologic controls, selecting appropriate ionizing factors for optimal diagnostic images.
Prepare patients' X-rays for physician review and request outside images for new patients with upcoming appointments.
Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and contribute to monthly reports.
Adhere strictly to infection control protocols.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited institution.
Current NYS Radiologic Technologist License.
Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification.
Proficiency with X-ray machines, specialized equipment, and imaging procedures.
Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and orthopedic conditions.
Experience with C-arm operation and accurate patient positioning.
Thorough knowledge of radiation safety principles and infection control protocols.
Prior experience working in an orthopedic environment is preferred.
