Position Purpose
Following established policies and procedures, performs and records ultrasound diagnostic tests of patients' pelvic, abdominal and arterial and vascular areas.
What you will do
Obtains information about internal organs, fluid accumulations, blood flow, masses or development of fetuses for use in diagnosis of disease, study of malfunction of organs, prenatal examination of fetuses and placenta.
Ensures ultrasound tests are of high quality and records results.
Assists physicians in carrying out examinations, consultations, sterile procedures.
Performs general clerical duties such as report filing and distribution, answering telephones, taking and relaying messages, photocopying materials.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Work requires the level of knowledge acquired through completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program. Associate's degree preferred plus three (3) months or less of on-the-job training and orientation.
Licensure: ARDMS Registered Abd/Pelvis preferred. May be required to become registered in multiple modalities.
Certification: Registry eligible required. ARDMS Registered within one year of hire. Will be required to become registered in one (1) modality within three (3) years of hire. May be required to become registered in multiple modalities.

As a Strength and Conditioning Specialist your responsibilities will include:
Provide qualified fitness instruction and education to employees on physical strength and conditioning, injury prevention, and general fitness and wellness on a daily basis
Responsible for one on one fitness training and small group training
Perform readiness assessments for population. Assessment topics will include stress, resiliency, nutrition, strength, and conditioning as well as sleep, as a minimum
Provide written recommendations and in person briefings to make recommendations to improve, add to, or change fitness programming based on the most current data, scientific research, and technology available, and design an implementation plan
Provide guidance to develop physical training and injury prevention to complement and enhance existing fitness programming
Provide qualified instruction to population on physical conditioning, injury prevention and general health.
Coordinate individualized exercise and rehabilitation programs with population to ensure safe and expeditious return to work for individuals recovering from injury
Perform administrative duties, such as data collection and analysis, records maintenance, and documentation, writing reports, conducting, or participating in education programs, and participating in staff quality assurance functions as needed or required by contract
Tracks participant and program data for measurement of individual and program goal achievement, outcomes and results; creates outcomes focused management reports based on the identified business plan goals and objectives.
Develops relationships with members, clients and key contract contacts to promote goodwill and outstanding customer satisfaction
Implements NSCA programming guidelines, identifying high-risk and special populations
Responsible for helping implement the Aquila internship program when appropriate
Additional duties and responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Health Science, Health Promotion, or closely related field.
Currently active National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification
Currently active National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Tactical Strength and Conditioning Facilitator (TSAC-F) certification
One (1) or more years specialized experience performing strength and conditioning instruction
U.S. citizenship required (this is a federal agency)
Must pass a physical training examination
Must be able to physically push, lift and drag one hundred (100) pounds
Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors, for extended periods of time in any weather

WHOOP is looking for an enthusiastic Senior Embedded Engineer to join our Software Organization as part of the Embedded Engineering team. You will work with Hardware, Signal Processing, Manufacturing and Product teams to develop and deliver against Hardware and Software roadmaps. The Embedded team's mission is to build and deploy stable, accurate, and power efficient firmware platforms for all our in house developed devices via a seamless 24/7 connection and interaction between our mobile apps.

As a Senior Embedded Engineer you will collaborate with a diverse group of the industry's best and brightest engineers in supporting current products, as well as developing new cutting edge products that help our members achieve their health and fitness goals with industry leading monitoring and data analysis.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and test firmware in C for WHOOP's product line, including features optimized for low-power performance.
Take ownership of complex firmware features and ensure they meet performance, power, and reliability goals.
Debug and resolve challenging issues across software, hardware, manufacturing, and system integration.
Define, write, and maintain clear technical requirements and documentation.
Participate in code reviews to ensure clarity, correctness, and adherence to coding standards.
Design and improve firmware self-tests, validation tools, CI workflows, and internal development tools.
Support electrical development by evaluating components, bringing up drivers, and contributing to hardware design discussions.
Leverage AI as a development tool and share learnings with the team.
Collaborate with Electrical, Signal Processing, Mobile, and Manufacturing teams to validate designs and refine interfaces.
Mentor teammates by providing guidance on design, implementation, and debugging.
Identify opportunities to improve performance, power efficiency, stability, and reliability across the firmware platform.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
5+ years of embedded firmware development experience.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve ambiguous issues independently.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with experience mentoring and collaborating across teams.
Strong experience with electronics debugging tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and logic analyzers.
Proficient with device driver development and 32-bit RISC architectures such as ARM Cortex.
Proficient in C/C++ programming.
Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals, with proficiency in reading schematics and hardware specifications.
Experience working with operating systems (OS) and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
Strong understanding of system communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, USART/UART, and BLE.
Experience with version control using git and modern CI/CD workflows.
Experience with unit, integration, and functional testing for embedded systems.
Experience with Agile software development practices.
Experience working on high-volume consumer electronics products preferred.
Willingness to act as both a team player and a technical leader.
LOCATION:
This role is based in the WHOOP office located in Boston, MA. The successful candidate must be prepared to relocate if necessary to work out of the Boston, MA office.

COMPENSATION:
The U.S. base salary range for this full‑time position is $150,000-$210,000. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. In addition to base salary, the successful candidate will receive benefits and a generous equity package. Compensation includes a competitive base salary, equity, and benefits aligned with our mission and core values.
