R.W. Warner, Inc is seeking an experienced Quality Control Superintendent to join our team. This position will oversee the quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) functions on projects for our Electrical Division (Williams Electric) and our Construction Division (Warner Construction). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial and/or industrial electrical construction, a solid understanding of codes and standards, and the ability to lead inspections and documentation to ensure all work meets company and client requirements. Job Duties/Responsibilities: Implement and maintain project-specific Quality Control Plans for electrical installations. Inspect and verify electrical work to ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, NEC, and applicable codes. Coordinate with project management, engineering, and field teams to identify and resolve quality issues. Perform and document inspections, testing, and verification activities. Manage quality control documentation including checklists and inspection reports. Facilitate and, in some cases, lead pre-installation meetings and provide training to ensure crews understand quality expectations and procedures. Conduct final inspections and ensure proper turnover documentation to the client. Maintain effective communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams regarding quality standards and progress. Qualifications 5-10 years minimum experience in electrical construction, with at least 3 years in a QC role. Strong understanding of NEC, industry standards, and electrical system installation practices. Proven experience providing quality control processes on commercial or federal projects preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications. Strong organizational and communication skills, with an emphasis on attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and construction management software (e.g., Procore, Autodesk). OSHA 30, NFPA 70E, and USACE CQM Certifications are preferred and may be required based on project. Assess product for compliance to specifications and procedures. Assist with the development of risk management strategies. Contribute to suggestions for improvements in communication and monitoring. Maintain daily logs of project quality and surveillances. Support logged information with photographs/videos - photographing must be in accordance with client's privacy policies. Prior NDT Level II (VT) certification is required, in accordance with SNT-TC-1A and endorsed by an ASNT NDT Level III. 3 years minimum experience in Visual Testing (VT). Welding experience is preferred but not required. Biopharmaceutical, high-purity inspection experience is required. Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, processes, and methods). Thorough knowledge of company QA/QC policies, procedures and standards. Job Description The Quality Control Technician is responsible for taking samples, observing and testing a variety of materials from all stages of the production process, using physical, and instrumental techniques. Evaluating the test results against internal and external specifications. The Quality Control Technician is also responsible for reporting noncompliance and taking action to preserve the integrity of our products. * Sample and test raw materials for specification compliance. * Validate that the proper components and materials are used. * Calibrate, clean, and maintain production tools and testing equipment. * Record test results and report them to management. * Perform daily equipment inspections, as well as identify and assist in correcting unsafe conditions. * Collaborate with plant employees and build and maintain relationships with customers. * Build and maintain relationships with plant employees and customers. * Accurately sample and perform physical properties tests on all types of raw materials, in-process, and finished products following established laboratory guidelines, SOP, or consensus standards. * Effectively document, interpret and communicate analysis results within the context of the production facilities to maintain product quality. * Assist with tasks in other departments as needed. * Monitor test results of raw materials, in-process and finished goods for trends and adherence to specifications. * Report noncompliance immediately to affected departments and take action to maintain compliance with specifications when necessary. * Follow the required industrial hygiene, legislative and plant requirements. * Familiar with the operation, safety features, and manuals of all laboratory instruments, machines, and tools. * Maintain housekeeping of sampling locations. * Responsible for minor repairs on laboratory equipment, facilities, and preventative maintenance. * Ensure a workplace culture of safety through workplace inspection and watching out for others. * Complete appropriate training to run equipment in the most efficient and sustainable manner. * Maintain chemical solutions, laboratory instruments, standardization or calibration schedule, and a clean work environment.
